Ms. Marninah Sloan

I have been an academic coach for over 25 years, mostly working with kids in middle school and high school who have not been helped in school. As time has gone by, more of my students have presented with ADD, ADHD, anxiety disorders, or other emotional issues, have processing issues or other issues which impacted their abilities to function in school or impacted their abilities to more easily comprehend their schoolwork. I have a great deal of patience and an ability to quickly discern what difficulties my students are facing and how to best help them. I have been incredibly frustrated for years as I have watched school administrators and teachers NOT do the jobs they should be doing. For the last several years, I have been practicing special education law doing pro-Bono work through Volunteers Lawyers for Justice helping indigent families in Northern New Jersey. My law practice is dedicated almost exclusively to special education law.
