Her reputation as a powerful advocate is rooted in her depth of experience and data driven approach. She has published multiple tool kits to empower parents of children with disabilities. Kathleen has presented to parent organizations across the state on a variety of educational topics. She has designed and taught advocacy courses targeting both parent and professional advocates for state and national organizations. She successfully led a coalition of parents and professionals lobbying legislators resulting in the passing of a state bill that addresses special education evaluations.
