At the Law Office of Joan H. Proper, we represent parents in matters related to their child's education. In Special Education, we assist with IEP and Section 504 Plans including plan eligibility, development and implementation issues. We also help families with general education matters including truancy, transportation issues, placement disputes, disciplinary issues, school suspension and explusion hearings and appeals, Office of Student Management and Alternative Programs hearings, casuality hearings and Manifestation Determination Review hearings, Office of Civil Rights complaints, and behavior needs including FBA and BIP development and implementation.
