Ms. Dolores McIlmail

I provide special education advocacy services from early intervention through transition services. I have represented students in all areas of educational disabilities. I assist families in understanding and navigating the special education process including initial evaluations, eligibility determination, IEPs, independent evaluations and placement disputes and mediation. I have experience in school discipline, school refusal and CRA’s. I have also worked with hospitals, DCF, and DMH to ensure the best outcomes. My areas of interest are families of adoption, children with trauma or emotional and behavioral issues.
