Mr. Juan Hernandez Jr

I am a Special Education Services Manager with Brighton Center, leading an experienced and passionate team of Special Education Advocates. I am married to my best friend that is a Registered Behavior Technician (Intern to be a BCBA), I have a son in college pursuing a business degree, with a minor in Japanese, at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, and together my wife and I have two teenagers, boy and girl, that are on the Autism Spectrum. I have presented throughout San Antonio and the surrounding areas to parents and professionals about Special Education law, provided advocacy for children of all abilities, to include students in DODEA around the world, and have provided professional development training and consultation for local school districts. I served on active duty with the US Army for 13 years holding multiple titles and deploying around the world and have been a member of the US Army Reserves since January of 2012. I have a B.S. in psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavioral Analysis and a M.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis on advocacy from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
