Mosaic Pediatric Therapy - Huntersville

I had my child here for 2 years and always recommended mosaic. I’m not sure what happened to the management. I called to get my son back into ABA for therapy over the summer only. I was told by every person that was no problem until I took off of work and showed for his evaluation, docusiged everything, all was ran through my insurance, got a call to set up the first day for him to start and then got a call saying mosaic wasn’t the right fit bc they would prefer he be there longer than my needed timeframe. By that time I have no time to get him into any other therapy program for the summer because there is long waitlists everywhere!!! Then I received a bill stating I owed a balance for evaluations they did that I would have never showed for it I knew ahead of time that they wouldn’t take him. The billing lady read notes that we’re supposedly jotted down that we’re a completely not true. I was never once told until that very last call that it would be an issue. Everyone I spoke with prior to that told me it was no problem. She was telling me that I would owe the bill or it would go to collections. It took a second phone call and being told that I could just as easily be lying to get out of a bill before I finally got this woman to write off that bill. I feel insulted by the billing person, my time wasted by mosaic, and notes put on my sons account that were not true!!! I’m waiting on a call back from Amanda Morales now to speak with her about this issue and my experience. So this clinic that I once recommended and spoke highly of, I would not recommend with the current people hired to run it.
