We’re Kelsie and Brandon, founders of Misfits ABA. With over 10 years of experience in behavior analysis, education, leadership, and advocacy, we’ve learned that bigger doesn’t always mean better, and neither does doing something simply because “that’s how it’s always been done.”

Misfits ABA was created to do things differently. We believe great ABA starts with genuinely knowing the people we serve. Our clients aren’t numbers, billable hours, or treatment plans. They’re individuals with personalities, strengths, challenges, families, and lives that matter beyond therapy.

We value relationships, practical solutions, collaboration, and giving families and professionals a voice in the process. Outside of work, we’re parents of teenagers, farm-life wranglers, travelers, and happiest when we can sneak away outdoors or onto the water. Misfits reflects a lot of who we are: a little unconventional, very human, and convinced that different can be pretty great.

Kelsie and Brandon are the founders of Misfits ABA, bringing over 10 years of combined experience in behavior analysis, education, leadership, and advocacy. Their experiences have shaped their belief that bigger is not always better and that effective care does not have to follow a traditional, one-size-fits-all approach.

At Misfits ABA, Kelsie and Brandon are committed to doing things differently by genuinely getting to know the individuals and families they serve. They believe clients are more than numbers, billable hours, or treatment plans—they are individuals with unique personalities, strengths, challenges, families, and lives that extend far beyond therapy.

Their approach centers on meaningful relationships, practical solutions, collaboration, and ensuring families and professionals have a voice in the care process. They are passionate about providing personalized support that feels authentic, human, and responsive to each family's needs.

Outside of work, Kelsie and Brandon are parents of teenagers, enjoy farm life, traveling, and spending time outdoors or on the water. Their personal values are reflected in Misfits ABA: a little unconventional, very human, and committed to showing that different can be pretty great.
