Founding Story

Mindful Behavior Connections LLC is a pediatric therapy practice offering ABA services through a naturalistic, play-based, and relationship-first lens. We specialize in supporting neurodivergent children and their families through a neurodiversity-affirming, polyvagal-informed, and developmentally respectful approach that values regulation, autonomy, and connection.

Our services include comprehensive assessments, focused ABA therapy (2–15 hours per week), social skills groups, inclusive art classes and parent coaching or consultation. We all offer developmental support sessions for infants, toddlers, and their caregivers. Sessions are led by experienced BCBA's and RBT's who share a commitment to responsive, child-centered care. We maintain intentionally small caseloads to ensure families receive the attention and support they deserve.

Founded by BCBA Ashley Walls, Mindful Behavior Connections was created to close the gap in services for families seeking flexible, affirming support that honors each child’s nervous system, communication style, and lived experience. Our model integrates nature-based learning, art, play and embedded goals within everyday routines—making therapy feel less clinical and more connected.

We use tools like incidental teaching, narrative and declarative language, visual supports, modeling, and co-regulation to gently build skills in real-life contexts. As our team grows, our mission remains clear: to redefine what ABA can look like—creative, empowering, and rooted in safety and trust for both children and their caregivers.
