Dr. Peterson is an amazing doctor and makes everything very clear and easy. He is patient and answers any questions I have and is the best primary care doctor Ive ever had. Beyond that the team in the clinic is very friendly and knowledgeable makes for a comforting environment. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

Ive been coming to this clinic since it opened up in this neighborhood. Some days there are long waits but the change in doctors is great. Dr. Peterson is a family medicine doctor and Ive always had a good experience with him. He actively listens to questions and concerns and explains things fluently that I understand perfectly. He has the passion youd expect from a doctor who actually likes their job.Not 5 stars due to the lab of this clinic their open time for that should expand on days and time. People need their lab work done closer to home instead of heading to the UI Hospital

Nice doctor empathetic and professional. Horrible blood draw service you send various emails and no answers or call backs and test results not given. I called clinic no one answers. I had to go in person. Ugh Im making a serious complaint.

Lets start off with the lack of communication or the availabilty of the doctors and what services they actually perform. 3 times in the last 2 months I scheduled an appointment online through the patent portal for my daughter and I. The first time the doctor I was scheduled with was not on the schedule for that day of r my daughter and I. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes the clerk who checked me in finally tells me that the doctor is not here and she did not know why we were scheduled with that doctor. She stated that she could put us with one of the two doctors that were there on Saturday and come to find out he was not even in the office yet however already had patients waiting and he was supposedly running late. I left and made another appointment. The second instant the service I needed supposedly only the mid wife does I was not told this prior and there was no mid wife on staff to perform the procedure after waiting 1 hour for nothing. the 3rd time was recently on 5282019. I was scheduled to see Dr Lilliana Alvarez for an annual pap smear. After waiting yet a hour again having vitals done providing urine samples she finally comes in and tells me only mid wives do pap smear. Ive had pap smears done many times by my PCP and even by Dr Alvarez but now all of a sudden the PCP dont do anything its always the mid wives performs this service or that service. I told her Im upset this is the 3rd time Ive taken off work came for my visit on time waited for at least a hour to either be turned around because you all schedule inadequately. She tries to tell me that when you schedule through the portal often times mistakes happen. I told her honestly if I call the main phone line your staff picks up puts you on hold and leaves you there or they dont answer at all and when you call through the call center they still schedule inaccurately. Her front desk staff didnt even know from their words that the clinic has a patent portal. Dr. Alvarez states that well the front offcie staff is not clinical I responded of course not theyre clerical they should know the doctors schedule the services they perform and how to adequate schedule appointments. Once I told her I work for a hospital clinic and I schedule appointments daily and schedule through our patient portal she had to further feedback because clearly she assumed I was oblivious to how things work. I asked could I speak to the clinic manager and she would no give me the name or information but instead continued to make excuses for the clinics short comings. She attempted to put me with a mid wife if their schedule permitted meanwhile the clinic was full of patients that it was only a seat or two left. So she expected me to wait until the midwife was to see all of her patients out there waiting and then finally be seen. I picked up my things and headed for the door and told her its not right that people take time out of their schedules to to wait come to an appointment after waiting for months to actually get an appointment and then there is always an issue upon getting here. I told her thanks but no thanks Im not sitting for another maybe 2 hours to finally see a doctor when I had an actual appointment. This clinic has really gone down hill. Most of the doctors do not care at all. I will say that Dr Collazo and APN Benton are good at what they do. Dr Rios have patients waiting for hours because she double and triple books and is never on time. Other than that the rest of them need to get a new line of work because they are not empathetic to the way they treat patients. After that day I am in the works of finding a new clinic for my daughter and I

Got there at 650am. Says it opens at 7am. Get in there oh the doctors dont start until 8am. Finally got called back at 815 told the nurse my symptoms only to be told we dont have any openings today When I first got there at 650am the lady at the front desk should have looked in the system to see if there were any appointments open for walk in that day. A waste of time and energy especially when a patient is sick and on the bus

To whom it may concernYour Mile Square Health Center is very unprofessional. I had an appointment at 9am I arrived there at 835am and didnt see anybody but the security. Only up until 910am your CS employees came to the front desk on their phones laughing and talking not acknowledging any of the patients. I ended up being called by a nurse around 915am but still not being consoled about my wait. I will not be visiting this facility again nor will I be a part of your healthcare system.

Dr. Rios is an amazing doctor. She supports you on what you want and how you want it. She is also great with kids. The only doctor I go to in the city since i have been her. Most of all I love that she is down to earth and can communicate well with me.

I read the reviews about this place first. I saw a bunch of negative reviews but I decided to see for myself what kind of experience I would have. I assigned my son to this clinic. It was a very convenient location for us. His appt was at 9 am he got there at 858 am. They called his name and we went right back immediately. There were people there before me. So I assume its VERY IMPORTANT to be there ON TIME. My son doctor was VERY generous and kid friendly. He asked good questions he showed interested he interact with him. My son is 6yrs old and he like his doctor alot. For me it was a very pleasant 1st time experience.

There is noting to like about this place receptionist will have you sitting there for hours wont tell you any thing waits for nurse to try to help you in the end they wont help you at all after about an hour or more every time doctors wont ask you any questions other was in there script. Appointment wait time more then one month walk in time over 3 hour and then you wont see you doctors you will never see your assigned Doctor this place need to organize the place the staff and the really need to get better people to work there that can give great customer service doctors need to stop over booking there schedule I hate going to this place every time

Dr. Rios was very unconcerned about my health concerns. I waited for her to arrive and she was at least an hour late once she reached my room and I began to voice my concerns regarding my health she asked me if we could address my concerns in 3-6 months because she had other patients waiting on her. As if their health is more important to me than my own. I do believe it was a matter of ethnicity since the clinic is in a hispanic area and the provider was also hispanic and Im not. Very poor service on her behalf and I would urge all non hispanics to find a different doctor if you want to be cared for properly.
