Its pretty bad when a company such as this causes confusion on health and mental health practices. When Arissa was Mid south health systems it had personal information leaked out about adult clients to adult clients and they hide the problem by not answering the serious calls. On the childrens out patients you would have to now wait to get your kids meds until you seen the doctor or try to get them set up for therapy. This company needs to be investigated for Neglect of their patients. The physical health your documents are a book long to fill out compared to other PCP offices. You will never get an answer or youre treated as a criminal when screened. This is crazy for a company who takes value of their patients and the value is 0. Do not use this company.

I like my doc but when you need to call for whatever reason you cant get through. In the past week Ive tried 3 times to call and get my appt rescheduled but no one answers. The next thing you know Im disconnected. If your people doing other things cant answer the phones because of being busy get someone to strictly answer the phones

The way in which Allison M McArthur conducts herself online is absolutely shocking Her opinion on medical application is something to be desired after speaking with an ex who is a well known physiologist its apparent that from her conduct online her qualifications and training should be taken into question. The SWLB will be made aware of this.

I tried all day to call and talk to a human at the Jonesboro location. I got voicemails or nonstop elevator music depending on which extension the operator transferred me to. So I called the location in Walnut Ridge and a very friendly lady helped answer some questions. I decided to take off work and go to the Jonesboro location before they closed. The woman in the administration area was having a personal conversation on the company phone and didnt greet me. So I walked back to the Adult Outpatient area where the door slams so the receptionists know someone has entered. I stood at their window for at least 30 seconds while one woman was on the company phone and the other woman was looking down and playing on her cell phone. If this is what Mid South or Arisa or whatever it is called now has become then maybe they just need to go on out of business. All the other bad reviews are clearly accurate. MSHS is supposed to help people with all kinds of mental and emotional issues and if they dont even care enough to greet a person I sure as hell dont want anyone inside treating me. I am so disappointed. MSHS used to be a very respectable facility with respectful staff and therapists.

Mid south has been ok in some areas but reasons they may not be a good option. 1. They are the only ones who work for the schools with in the Jonesboro area and the therapist do not work well with Autism in which means that their performance is very low and needs more education attention per therapist. 2. They are the only ones who have adult treatment centers where adults can have day treatment just like a school but the problem is the Dr. Who is over seeing them and front admission do not use professional intake or communication skills and very unprofessional before people arrive leaving them turned away with out giving them knowledge before they arrive what you will need to have at the intake. Pocahontas and walnut ridge also be very light with them they were known for case workers sharing information with other clients. The childrens area they do well but need more work on doctor and office transfer of information and must seek therapist that work with the student s on a better level in school so the parents dont have to worry of large issues and ISS continuance by bring the knowledge to the teachers on how to handle the student in a class setting.

Getting an appointment in this place has been extremely difficult. The original appointment was changed 4 times before finally getting in. Scheduled the follow up appointment and arrived waited 15 minutes before a staff member came out to let us know that something came up and would not be able to be seen today. She then told me that the therapist did let them know ahead of time but they had so much going on that they didnt contact us.I have never experienced a medical office less concerned with patients schedules. I assume they think nobody has a job and their patients dont have to take time off work for these appointments.I hope the therapy is great because the hoops in which one has to go through to get and keep appointments here leaves much to be desired

Waited over 3 months to get in. Therapist never reviewed my paperwork before calling me into the room. When I point out that I filled out the paperwork which was sitting right on their desk. because they were asking me all the questions that was in the forms The therapist gets kind of snappy and states that they have clients back to back and they dont have time to look over paperwork and are overbooked. Ok well still I get that but literally all the answers they were asking were right in front of them. On other questions I was doing my best to communicate to them which is by writing because I dont speak it really seemed to annoy the therapist and displease them so they end up saying that the intake was extremely difficult. I mean how is that even fair when I was doing my absolute best to answer the questions given and was cooperating fully with what questions were asked. I mean thats not even fair thats flat out rude. Although if 5 min had been taken before calling my name to come back to the room to review my forms then half the questions would have already been answered for you. But instead all that new patient form they tell you to fill out is a waste of your time to do because none of it gets looked at. Another issue I came across is they have no decent dates on return visits they gave me one that was 2-3 months out and only for 30 minutes instead of an hour that you would normally get. That in itself is unhelpful basically making it pointless. Besides all this I think they need or at least this specific therapist needs to be more open to different methods of communication and be more understanding of others because I can pretty much guarantee you that a verbal person would of gotten a better welcome than what I received. The front desk receptionist was a lot more friendly than the actual therapist and was more willing to communicate with me like a actual human being that I am. Things like this is exactly why I stay home because if you use anything other than verbal communication here its not heard the same as a speaking client. And of course none knows sign language here I knew that before coming but that wasnt the issue the issue is the therapists attitude and was supposed to have taken my written form of communication and was rather rude. Needless to say I had that one appointment and I am never returning. The odd thing is the or I guess hes the main person here Brad Hyde he said to me they would accept my form of communication and obviously they did not. Claimed they would be more than willing to assist me when obviously they were not. I think that was a marketing technique just to get more cash flow in the doors. Anyways I deserve much better than what I received here. There have to be better places without all the attitude and borderline discrimination of communication methods.

Mid South Health system is one of the worst therapy centers I have dealt with very unprofessional. I made an appointment and they rescheduled and then rescheduled again and again. I just troll them Ill will find another place to get therapy since I wasnt important enough to keep their appointment. Very unprofessional and very disappointing.
