Introduction
Hello, I’m Michelle, a speech-language pathologist with experience supporting individuals across school, clinical, and acute care hospital settings. I am passionate about helping people of all ages communicate in ways that honor who they are. I focus on building connection, trust, and nervous system regulation as the foundation for meaningful progress. My approach is engaging, individualized, and strengths-based. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I strive to create therapy that is practical, empowering, and centered on each person’s unique goals.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Insightful
Creative
Innovative
I chose these three words because they reflect how I approach both my clients and my work. I am insightful in that I look beyond surface behaviors to understand the whole child — their strengths, needs, and unique communication style. I am creative in designing therapy that is engaging, flexible, and tailored to each individual rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model. I am innovative because I continually explore new strategies and perspectives to support meaningful progress and authentic connection.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, and adults with communication differences across a variety of settings. I work with individuals with autism, language delays, social communication challenges, and speech sound disorders, as well as adults experiencing speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing changes related to stroke, neurological injury, or other medical conditions. My background in both school-based and acute care hospital environments allows me to support clients across the lifespan with a thoughtful, individualized approach that considers nervous system regulation, processing differences, and overall well-being as essential components of communication growth.
