Michelle Blankenship; MS

Currently I lead a team of more than 50 therapists who provide services to children, birth to three years old, throughout the state of Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore as well as Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy services for those with disabilities throughout the lifespan. Responsibilities include recruitment and retention of staff, marketing, program development, strategic planning, as well as database management of the electronic medical record, and social media liaison with direct treatment staff. Additionally I ensure compliance with best practices, including maintaining CARF accreditation. I am an active member of Delaware’s Part C’s State Systemic Improvement Plan, working to enhance intervention services for children and their families. I am a practicing speech language pathologist, specializing in serving children with communication delays and feeding disorders both individually and with a trans-disciplinary team in center and community based settings.
