Introduction
Hi, I’m Michelle Agbayani, a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist based in San Francisco. At this time, I exclusively offer virtual services and work with clients aged 13+. I primarily work with teens and adults (13+), drawing on experience across mental health, rehabilitation, home health, and community-based intervention. My approach is strengths-based, holistic, and collaborative—I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and even enjoyable. I’m passionate about helping people feel more confident, capable, and connected to the lives they want to live. I integrate occupational therapy with mindfulness, relaxation, breathwork, body-based approaches, and individualized strategies to support meaningful change.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Empathetic
Attentive
Adventurous
I think the three words that describe me best are empathetic, adventurous, and attentive. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people and understanding what makes them feel supported, motivated, and comfortable. I’m attentive to the small details that can make a big difference, while also bringing curiosity and a sense of fun to therapy. I’m naturally adventurous and believe growth often happens when we have the right support to try something new. I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, encouraged, and comfortable being themselves.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to support teens and adults (14+) who want to build confidence, independence, healthy routines, coping skills, communication, and greater balance in their daily lives. I especially enjoy working with people who feel anxious, stressed/overwhelmed, depressed, disconnected, or “stuck,” and who are looking for practical strategies offered through a holistic, person-centered approach. My background is particularly well suited to clients navigating mental health, life transitions, executive function challenges, rehabilitation, or challenges with daily functioning/routine. I’m less suited to support families seeking early intervention or clients whose needs require highly specialized clinical care outside my scope.
