-My name is Micaela, pronounced "Ma-K.eye-la and I am a pediatric SLP based in Orange County, California.
- I serve children ages, birth to 18.
-My approach is play-based learning, incorporating a child's interest into speech and language activities.
-My expertise includes early intervention, speech and oral motor disorders, language differences, and oral motor feeding delays.
-I am passionate about empowering children to use their voice to advocate for themselves, making therapy enjoyable, helping little ones learn their first words, and providing families with resources to support their child.

As a pediatric SLP, I bring a calm and safe learning environment to help my students and families feel comfortable and heard. I strive to teach my students that in a safe space; it is okay to make mistakes so that we can learn and try new ways of doing something difficult. My patience allows me to meet each student at their own pace, celebrating small wins while building confidence over time. I make therapy engaging through creativity, play, and warmth, turning goals into fun, meaningful activities. I balance professionalism with genuine connection, creating an encouraging space for children to communicate, learn, and thrive.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I specialize in speech and language therapy working with children who have apraxia of speech, feeding difficulties, oral motor disorders, articulation errors, and learning differences. Over the years, I have served children with autism spectrum disorders, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and Angelman's syndrome. I enjoy working with each child I have met over the years and look forward to working with many other children and families.
