About Medicine Horse Program

Medicine Horse offers free/donation-based equine assisted psychotherapy and learning sessions to enhance the mental health of individuals, couples, children & teens, families, and groups. With the aid of our herd of therapy horses, we offer groups for veterans & active service members, people in recovery from substance abuse, people with disabilities, the LBGTQ+ population, women impacted by breast cancer, trauma & abuse survivors, children with autism, underserved youth, and more.

Fantastic group. Its a wonderful experience to work with the horses. Would be a great alternative for anyone reluctant to do traditional therapy. Very effective for healing. Additionally they took in and cared for extra animals during the recent fires. Community comes first.
