Karen brings over 20 years of exceptional business acumen and hands-on executive leadership that has transformed digital marketing enterprises and consumer-driven businesses. Karen was a pioneer in digital marketing, creatively guiding many businesses to reach consumers online since the earliest days of e-commerce. She has held various leadership roles throughout her career, steering the transformation and scaled high-growth of internet businesses such as the international social media giant Tagged, and digital marketing companies QuinStreet, and Exponential Interactive. At QuinStreet, Karen revamped the for-profit education vertical from a nascent business with three clients to one generating over $150MM in annual revenue in two years. In 2011, as the Vice President of Products and Services at the B2B digital marketing services company, Focus Media, Karen reimagined their product offerings, significantly improved both the top line and bottom line, and was pivotal in selling the business to Ziff Davis Media. Most recently, as the CEO of Caring.com, Karen led this senior care referral business to #2 in the nation. She scaled the operation through her hands-on management and successfully steered Caring.com through the acquisition and integration of SeniorHomes.com, as well as two successful exits.
