Mayers is a great place if youre looking to be more active Ive been attending the adult kickboxing class for the past two years and its been such a great experience. I started the class with no prior experience and Dan has done such a great job teaching myself and the others on the basics and then how to continue to improve. Each class is challenging and I leave feeling great and feeling stronger. Dan switches the routine up and is always encouraging which helps to power through some of the workouts. You can tell how much he cares about his students. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Very good school mr Mayer is great for many types of children and adults. his teaching philosophy and style really improves a person mental and physical strength. The other instructor mr schelzo is great for all types of learning styles he is very patient and his passion is spread throughout the dojo. Something diffrent that this dojo does is that mayers karate gives older students an opportunity to work with the instructors and shadow ther teaching. This is a reward given to students that embody the dojo philosophy both in and outside of the school. The dojo also follows the student creed. This list consists of twelve philosophy that student are taught to strive for. Mayers Karate and Fitness is a true class act when it comes to training their students but especially when training their students with special needs. The care they take and patience they have is second to none. This is the first activity my son has done that has lasted longer than 9 months. We are amazingly on year four and we couldnt be happier. Im so happy I found Mayers and its outstanding teachers.
