Hi! My name is Tak Nim, owner of Maxtops Speech Therapy, and I'm a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a deep passion for research and a commitment to inclusive, culturally sensitive care. I am native/bilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with elementary proficiency in ASL and Spanish, which allows me to connect meaningfully with diverse families. I highly value research and contribute to the field as a Pearson Field Research Examiner, helping develop new assessments. I am certified in the following specialized trainings: PROMPT®, PECS®, TALKTOOLS® Feeding Therapy, Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, FEED THE PEDS®, and DIR Floortime (Level 1).
