As a credentialized specialist at Maxim Healthcare I found myself navigating a work environment heavily influenced by frat culture particularly from a recruiter standpoint. The office buzzed with constant chants of lets go and an emphasis on socializing and team camaraderie which while invigorating for some left me feeling marginalized and discriminated against.Despite the crucial role credentialized specialists played in the organization it often felt like recruiters received disproportionate recognition and compensation for their work. While we as specialists handled the bulk of the workload recruiters seemed to benefit from a system that rewarded them without merit.This disparity in recognition and compensation only served to exacerbate the sense of discrimination I experienced as a black employee who didnt fit into the frat culture dominating the office. It was disheartening to see my efforts undervalued while others thrived within the system.In conclusion while Maxim Healthcare may tout a vibrant and dynamic work environment the reality for credentialized specialists like myself was often one of frustration and marginalization. The frat culture pervasive in the organization coupled with unequal treatment and compensation made it challenging to feel valued and included.

I have been familiar with this office for several years as well as one of their Northern California offices for several decades. I have always gotten answers to questions resolutions to concerns a warm and genuine welcome from all in office staff just an overall security that business will be taken care of.In this day and time where quality customer service is archaic or a dead characteristic in businesses I applaud this company for their positive attitude patience and the best team of beautiful smiles on the 10th floor.I especially am very grateful and in awe of the beyond the call of duty assistance that I recently received from Kelly Figueroa. On a Friday Super Bowl weekend she volunteered to hold an important document for me and waited over an hour for me to retrieve it from her. She was so kind about the delay. Ive been working at Maxim for six months now and it has been a good experience. Simmi was actually the one who gave me a chance to work for the company she is very kind and understanding she is super easy to talk too. The rest of the staff have also been very nice the communication is really good and they always say please and thank you. They will always show how much they appreciate you.

As a newly graduated LVN I have started my nursing career at this place. The staffs are friendly and they try their best to find you a case that includes a little bit a challenge but not that you cant handle. Also they work with your schedule so you really dont have to be too stressed out balancing life. It was really good that they provided the novice nurse program that had prepared me mentally to take care of patients. After I finished the novice nurse program I have worked with a trach and G tube patient and also studied as a RN student. Taking care of a trach patient as a New grad LVN was a challenge at first but this experience of taking care of a trach patient in which most LVNs that I have met said that they rarely had an opportunity to take care of definitely helped me to be prepared theoretically and also skillfully as I moved on to the next step. Also there is always someone staffs or supervisors that can help you when you have trouble or concerns. So if you are an LVN who is a new grad or trying to go further in the nursing field but needs to work at the same time I definetly recommend to start or expand your career here at Maxim.
