Awful staff in the Bakersfield office. Unhelpful did not advocate and Kelsea Jhonson is a HORRIBLE RECRUITERTravelers my advice to you is to NOT TAKE CONTRACTS HERE they do not know what they are doing

IM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICES. I DONT RECOMMEND THEM .THEYRE VERY VERY VERY. I DO MEAN VERY....UNRELIABLE THE WORSE. I DONT GET HOW THEY CAN EVEN STAY OPEN ITS TIME TO SHUT THEM DOWN .THEY SAY THEY WILL SHOW UP WELL NO CALL NO SHOW REPEATEDLY RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT TYPE OF GAMES. THEIR STAFF NEEDS TRAINING PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR CLIENTS BUT NAH THEY BE ON THEIR PHONE TEXTING ALL THRU THEIR SHIFT OR TAKING YOUR GOODS FROM YOUR HOME.NOT GOOD.THEY WILL STRESS YOU OUT SERIOUSLY. This is one of the most unprofessional places to work. They lie about your paycheck. They lie on the patients response. Employees dont get paid like they are supposed to. When you ask about the direct deposit they lie to you. Money never paid on time. They take in patients and dont make sure their taken care of never staffed to accommodate the patients. DO NOT PUT YOUR FAMILY IN THIS PLACE. DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY YOUR PAYCHECK WILL NEVER BE ON TIME. YOUR FAMILY WILL NEVER RECEIVE PROPER CARE

I hired Maxim for respite care for my autistic child. I am given 20 hrswk and Maxim was unable to fill the time slots. I would receive maybe 2 days a week and usually the caretaker was late or a no-show. The caretakers were willing to work and learn but seemed to lack experience andor proper training. Many times I felt that having the respite care was more difficult on me and stressed me out more than not having them there.Maxim explained to me when I made a complaint about my time slots not being filled that this was a second job for many of the caretakers or they had their own children to watch which to me is not a very professional or necessary way to explain lack of scheduling.Pros Friendly workers friendly office staff receptive to complaints and tries to improve the complaint areas communication between office and myself was decent.Cons Time slots were not filled workers late workers untrained scheduling is done weekly instead and on volunteer basis instead of assignment to workers making it hard to plan anything ever.

I have been a nurse for over 35 years in some of the top hospitals in the country.. I will say I enjoy the people I work for..staffing personnel are awesome. They try really hard to get me the amount of hours I request. I have been able to work more than full time which is a must There is only 1 thing that I could ask for and that is increased pay as they are not as competitive in the hourly wage but the work is consistent

Along with all the other reviews do yourself a favor and DO NOT call this company. They have a horrible communication system. We called a month in advance to schedule a transit for my sisters doctors appointment trip after she had surgery and the day before I had to call and see if that transit was scheduled and the representative confirmed that it was scheduled.I also called the morning of the appointment and a different representative said they did not have any vendors even though when I called the day before a different representative confirmed my time If I would not have called the morning of the appointment my sister would have missed her doctors appointment and would have had to wait until the end of the year to see her doctor. LONG STORY SHORT THEY WILL LEAVE YOU STRANDED and youll have to find an alternative last minute transit.

Avoid this place at all costs. As a patient or a nurse. No one returns calls and they pay their nurses far under the average state salary. Sloppy management attracts sloppy employees who could care less about their job because they get paid the same as a fast food worker. Horrible company.

Very rude employees and staff They do not return calls. Took over 6 weeks to get a back ground cleared when they said it would take one week. We had to call the third party that provides the back ground check because maxims employees are too lazy to actually do their job. Im very disappointed with this company and reported them to KRC. This is the second bad experience Ive had with maxim. Go elsewhere for respite care
