Maryland School for the Deaf – Frederick

As a senior class of 2022 I can confirm MSD is a truly great school. Unfortunately it promotes elitism a LOT and the school system is based off on it. The staffs there are reasonable but they definitely value their authority and their position of power. Empowering the students to make more decisions are NOT one of their options. There are lot of legal issues that they definitely need to approach and reconvene about if they dont want to lose to any lawsuits. I can assuredly say the reputation floating in the air is definitely true. Also another thing that doesnt help is parents complaints about most petty things that the school has to handle despite the inner issues they have been struggling with ever since they opened the school. Send your kid there to see if they are strong enough and to see if they grow from there. I know for sure I did greatly.

The staff was professional and friendly. They are working very hard to update and to keep the historical significance of the school.
