Choosing a therapist is always a challenge. What I loved about Mary was that she invited me for a 20 minute initial get-to-know-me appointment. It felt good to have that step to ask questions and check compatibility. Happily Mary was exactly what I wanted in a therapistshes warm and compassionate incredibly smart and adept at showing me new ways to see things sometimes gently and sometimes urgently with deep compassion and understanding. Its weird reviewing a therapistits often based on personal preferences and communication style. I started seeing Mary about five months ago. Just know that Marys practice is a safe place to work through things with someone who brings years of experience an open heart and a frank gentle approach.
