Marla Veliz

I am a Special Education Administrator at New Horizon School, a private school for special needs students in Gr. 4-12 and ages 18 and beyond located in Renton, Washington. I have expertise in teaching and education administration. I have experience in teaching a wide range of subjects and grade levels to special education students with learning disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder in both private and public schools. I am dedicated, enthusiastic, and industrious. At New Horizon School, I manage staff and daily operations, address student and parent concerns, supervise curriculum and instruction, oversee admissions, develop and coordinate Individualized Education Plans, assure accreditation of the school, and supervise assessments of student progress.
