Introduction
Hi! I’m Mari, a licensed speech-language pathologist who enjoys working with young and school-age children, as well as adults, to support meaningful communication growth. I take a thoughtful, relationship-based approach and believe therapy works best when families feel heard, supported, and involved. I focus on practical, individualized strategies that fit naturally into everyday life. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband and kids, which helps keep me grounded and shapes how I partner with families in my work.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Thoughtful
Empathetic
Collaborative
I chose these words because they reflect how I approach my work and relationships. I’m thoughtful in how I listen, observe, and make clinical decisions, always considering what will be most helpful and appropriate for each individual. Empathy guides how I connect with clients and families, especially during times of uncertainty or transition. I’m also highly collaborative, valuing partnership with families, teachers, and other professionals so goals feel shared, realistic, and supportive of progress beyond therapy sessions.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I’m best positioned to support young and school-age children with speech sound differences and language delays, as well as adults seeking support following neurological changes. I work well with families who value clear communication, collaboration, and practical guidance throughout the process. I’m especially helpful for families who want a professional perspective, clear explanations, and next steps that feel manageable and supportive in everyday life.
