    Beaming Review

    Due to my Parkinson’s disease, my voice was getting weaker and it was having an impact on the quality of my communications. Also a weaker voice means that the throat muscles that are necessary for swallowing were getting weaker. That could lead to a serious medical problem. I consulted with Mari Gottlieb, my speech therapist. She evaluated my condition and recommended the Speak Out program. She guided me through the program. I did my homework, and the results were better than I had hoped for. Over the years I have had five speech therapists, and Mari is by far the best. She is well organized, encouraging, supportive, and gave excellent feedback to help me progress. I feel so lucky to have had her to guide me to a better quality of life.
