Mane Characters Equine Reserve & Retirement

We’re excited to introduce Mane Characters, a compassionate equine reserve located at Maplehurst Stock Farm in Paris, Kentucky, nestled within the scenic beauty of Bourbon County. We are proud to announce that we have received our 501(c)(3) approval from the IRS, making all donations to Mane Characters tax-deductible! We’re gearing up to launch an organization that truly values and cares for horses in need.

Our Vision and Mission: At Mane Characters, our vision is to create a haven where every horse has a chance to thrive. Our mission is to provide a loving and nurturing environment for equines, offering a range of personalized programs that include rescue, rehabilitation, re-training, re-homing, and peaceful retirement. We believe that every horse’s story matters, and we’re here to ensure that each journey is met with compassion, respect, and unwavering care.
