Introduction
Hi, I’m Malikaa! I’m a pediatric speech language pathologist with experience working with children and families in many different settings; schools, daycares, ABA clinics, home health, outpatient clinics, and even through telehealth, serving hundreds of Baltimore families. Before becoming a Speech Therapist (SLP), I worked as former Registered Behavior Technician with autism expertise in schools and at home, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding and supporting children with unique developmental needs. I believe kids learn best when they feel connected and are having fun. That’s why my sessions are play-based, engaging, and tailored to your child’s unique strengths and interests. I also make sure therapy is family-centered, so you feel supported and can use strategies at home in ways that fit naturally into your daily life.
What words would you use to describe yourself?
Dedicated
Positive
Creative
I am dedicated to helping each child reach their full potential and give my all to the families I serve. I am naturally positive and always look for the bright side, helping children feel confident and motivated as they grow. I am also creative at heart. I love doing crafts and creating art, and I carry that creativity into my sessions to make learning engaging, hands-on, and meaningful for every child.
Who are you best positioned to serve?
I am best positioned to serve children ages 1 through 12 and their families who are seeking support in building strong, confident communication skills. I specialize in working with late talkers and young children developing early language, as well as school-aged children who need support with vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension for academic success. I also help children with fluency and speech sound disorders, along with those experiencing social communication challenges. I am especially well-suited for families who value individualized, engaging therapy and a collaborative approach to their child’s growth.
