Making Light Productions

We came here for a summer camp which led to another camp right after. My now 11 year old started MLP at 10 she has horrible anxiety daily and the teachers here made her shine She never whines about going and I cant be more appreciative of Ms Brianna I recommended Making Light Productions 1000 Every child is welcomed with open arms.

We do virtual Piano lessons through MLP and cannot be happier Ms Briana is an amazing teacher and my son has learned so much. Couldnt recommend them enough

These young thespians are amazing and FUN. So much love abounds in every show and it is palpableyou cant help but feel good here. The venue is small and you are likely to see someone you know Tallahassee is that way after all. Just buy your tickets and go. You will be a happier person for it.

Absolutely love the plays. Shrek was hilarious. Making Light really demonstrates that they involve every student and develop them as individuals and challenge their talents. Im not a parent just a fan.

Making Light Productions is the place where our son fell in love with the performing arts It is such a warm welcoming comfortable place for kids to learn grow - it is a truly wonderful community of people from the students to the staff to the parents families. I consistently marvel at the top-notch professional quality of not only the teachers and lessons but the productions that MLP puts on. Highly recommended

My child has taken both ukulelevoice and guitar lessons at MLP and Ive been pleased The instructors are professional knowledgeable and warm. Its a great performing arts home where everyone Ive met so far seems to feel empowered and encouraged in their creative pursuits.

We are so very thankful for Making Light Productions and all the arts opportunities they provide to kids in the Tallahassee area. Our sons started out 3 years ago taking a stop motion movie class. What a fun class Our oldest has since joined one of their musical theatre groups along with taking tap acting and private actingsinging lessons. Hes also taken private drum lessons. In addition hes been given opportunities to gain volunteer hours and learn directing skills and all aspects of putting on a production through helping with summer theatre camps and a singing class during the school year. A bonus for homeschoolers - there are classes are available during school hours This year they added theatre history to the list of school time classes on offer All of the instructors are eager to help the kids grow in their skills and knowledge. They are all so kind and encouraging. Several of the private instructors are FSU theatre students - what a bonus If your child or you have a desire to learn about the arts learn and grow in theatredancesonginstruments you will want to check out MLP

We love Making Light Productions Our daughter first experienced summer camp for several summers. Then started voice lessons and has had two amazing instructors. Now she is involved in singing theatre and acting We love the inclusion teamwork and community of MLP

My daughter has been taking classes and attending camps at Making Light Productions for a few years now and she truly enjoys the staff and her classmates. As a parent there is no better feeling than knowing that my child is in a wonderful learning environment with an exceptional staff that cares for her as much as I do.

My oldest has attended Making Light for almost 4 years. We initially enrolled her in theater to improve her confidence when speaking in public. She has a speech impediment and her father and I started noticing that our spirited fun loving child was starting to close herself off to people embarrassed that she didnt sound like everyone else. Four years later our now pre-teen is singing in public constantly raising her hand in class and isnt afraid to let her voice be heard. Her confidence has grown so that its hard to believe that our daughter ever had a problem with her speech at allTheater teaches you many useful skills that stay with you long into adulthood such as being comfortable in your own skin effectively communicating creative thinking impromptu problem solving etc. Our family has thoroughly enjoyed our experience with this amazing school and we highly recommend Making Light to any parent looking to bring out the best in their child.
