For a mental health clinic it was far from welcoming. In fact, it was just the opposite of what you would want when seeking help. There was no receptionist, there were no windows, there was no "life", you just walked in the outside door and through another to find the dimly lit, dark walled waiting room. About the only way this environment could be worse for mental health patients is if they added rain. My social worker, Marc Walker, was nice, it's just that his style ultimately just didn't work for me and I chose to stop my visits after a couple of months. It has now been over 2 years since my last visit and I still cannot get them to share a copy of my session notes even after getting the BBB to try to help. If you're seeking help for your mental health I would not recommend this place even if you were desperate and debating self harm or harming others. If you are at that point call the Mental Health Hotline! If you're just looking for counseling then PLEASE keep researching.
