Mackenzie Swenson

Mackenzie attended Utah State University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders (2006) and a Master’s of Education in Speech Language Pathology (2008). She is currently finishing her doctoral dissertation as well. Mackenzie has been working at Premier for 10 years and, before coming to join our team, she worked for two years with elementary, middle school, and adult clients through the Utah school districts. This year will also mark her seventh year as an adjunct faculty member at BYU-I in the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSC) department where she received a Distinguished Faculty award two years ago. Mackenzie is passionate about early intervention, especially in teaching children first words and how to communicate in their environment. She says, “Nothing is better than watching a child begin to talk and be able to show their personality!”
