For whomever reads other reviews expressing frustrations with this dr andor the officeDr. Pupo and his staff care so much for each and every patient. It may be hard to see this due to how busy they are but they are so busy because they provide such attentive to care to each family and go above and beyond what they need to to make sure their patients are receiving the help they need. Dr. Pupo will sit with each caregiver and listen to their concerns refusing to rush them out of the door. He takes the time to truly get to know each family and build rapport. His work does not always stop in the office he will even tend to his patients off the clock if need be. This is a pediatric office that has not succumb to productivity demands - they are not profit driven. The consequential ramifications as a patient that come with this are far outweighed by the client-centered care they provide. Dr. Pupo was my brothers pediatrician then became mine the day I was born and is now my nephews. I am in my early 20s with a complex medical history and am still a patient of Dr. Pupos because of how devoted he is to his practice and to his patients. 1010 recommend this facility. With patience communication you will receive all of the care that you need.

Dr Pupo is a decent doctor but the negatives of this office far outweigh the fact that hes decent. The office is dirty proper sanitation is not preformed. His nurses are not nurses and are unqualified. The reception staff is miserable and there is no communication within the office. They dont return phone calls line is almost always busy and when you finally do get through they are nasty. The doctor doesnt even reference back in the childs charts he prescribed my daughter an antibiotic that she is allergic too which was in her chart.

I honestly LOVE Dr Pupo and feel he is by far the best pediatrician in the state by far. He was my family doctor for all of us since about 1989. He was the pediatrician for my son before he passed away and is now my daughters pediatrician. Cannot say enough good things about Dr Pupo. What is unfortunate is having such an incredible doctor and wanting so badly to stay in that office because of how amazing he is BUT having his staff be so intolerable inattentive inconsiderate so rude and clearly incompetent to do even the most basic tasks that any doctors office needs to know to do. Whenever you speak with the staff in person or on the phone you are immediately greeted with such blatant attitude as if they would rather be anywhere else. If you ask for super simple things or questions you wont get an answer. No matter how kind you may be to them they are just blatantly rude back. I told myself to just grit my teeth because its staff not the Dr and dealing with them for a few min to have an amazing doc for my child seemed worth it. My son dying had a horrible impact on me and it was hard-very hard. The Dr knows about that situation very well. Now with my daughter its hard when she gets sick being that she is now the exact age my son was when he passed. My daughter has been sick and barely sleeping so we took her to the office where they tested her and gave meds for an ear infection. This was Wednesday and Christmas was on the next Monday. I was told we would have results the next day or Friday the latest. Friday comes and goes and after work I tried to call since no one called me.. office was closed so I called emergency line who said the doc said he didnt get the results just yet and would have someone call the next day. Again Christmas was coming where Im around a lot of family like most people including other babieskids. Never got a call. Christmas came and went. My daughter now finished the meds and is still sick and not sleeping and worrying me more and more. So finally I call back since it had been almost 10 full days with NO calls after I called now a couple times. Woman says OH yeah shes positive for cold and RSV. I have never dealt with RSV had my son pass away at the same age have heard crazy things about RSV the nebulizer treatments are all on back order and the staff didnt feel it was important at all to call me knowing Christmas means being around family and possibly exposing other kids and babies. When I explained I was upset and was literally in tears and scared for my baby she told me wellllll its not my fault I was on vacationmeanwhile there are other people in the office that were apparently given the notes to call me but when you mention that they are never to blame of course and you get attitude as if YOU are in the wrong. Its so unfortunate that this staff is giving such an incredible doctor a bad name and Ive heard from so many other people that said they had to leave or not go at all here because of the staff and that means these kids are truly missing out on a caring doctor that has so much knowledge. Its really sad that I now will be looking for another pediatrician after Ive known Dr Pupo my entire life and trusted him more than any doctor Ive ever had really a shame. Its maybe time these women get a new job that they want to be at or maybe they need a real attitude adjustment and to actually do their jobs they are paid to do. Dr Pupo- your staff is severely lacking and ruining your reputation and driving lots of parents away and its atrocious.

Uhhhhh. Im speechless. Im in shock. I dont know how anyone would be ok with taking their baby there. I cannot speak for Dr. Pupo himself as we didnt even make it that far before walking outthe office REEKED of cigarettes if that wasnt alarming enough the office was dirty it was super outdated which wouldnt be a problem if it was clean but it seemed and was obvious that no one cared. And hasnt cared for at least a decade. It was dark and dingy. I truly cannot comprehend how any parent walks into that office and is ok with having their child receiving healthcare in that environment. Things should be clean and bright and sterile and not smelling of cigarettes Again I cannot speak of Dr. Pupos care but if it resembles anything close to his waiting room then its not safe for anyone. Adult or child.

Cigarette butts on the ground outside the front door of the building. Okay no big deal. But when the actual pediatricians office reeks of cigarettes and looks dingy and unkempt we unfortunately couldnt take the chance. Clearly there are low standards for cleanliness and general appearance which in my opinion is unacceptable for a doctor that is supposed to specialize in the care of babies and small children. No thank you.

I used to bring my daughter here and the front desk and nurses are literally awful dr.pupo was amazing absolutely loved him for the kids but the staff is really that bad that I switched they lost vaccine paperwork for my first daughter n when asked for it they handed me a blank vaccination card n said fill it out urself my aunt and i were literally shocked that they didnt know what vaccines she had and didnt I had to take any paperwork I had from appointments and call the insurance to avoid her being given the wrong shot it really was a scary experience especially for a first time mom thankfully the insurance and new doctor were able to help us.. the staff really is incredibly rude so be prepared for that they literally did not care n made it out to seem it was my fault they didnt have her paperwork organized .fast forward a few of my friends use them and literally every single one has complained or just completely left my one girlfriend said her kid had rsv baby is only a few months old and they didnt even tell her baby was tested n came positive till she called herself and of course the staff handled it terrible yet again saying good thing u called or no one would have knownhe really needs to fire every one in that office and start fresh if he cares about his practice and patients

Dr. Pupo was my pediatrician and now cares for both my daughter and son. He is one of a kind that they just dont make anymore. He truly cares for your children and prioritizes their health and well-being. As a new parent every little thing scares you. Dr. Pupo displays confidence competence and provides educated and experienced responses. He is the only pediatrician in the office and although appointments may take longer than what is expected- covid aside this allows for 11 continuity of care and he never makes you feel rushed. All questions are answered or responded to promptly. Even on off-hours or weekends he is available 247 and returns calls and goes above and beyond to provide your little ones with the best care possible. I recommend him to anyone

Weve been with Dr. Pupo for over 17 years and travel to keep him as our pediatrician. He came to us as a referral shortly after our first was born and my wife was diagnosed with cancer. It was a hard time and Dr. Pupo showed us compassion and genuinely cared. He is the best by far and has always gone above and beyond. Hes family to us is knowledgeable compassionate and just a cool dude to be around. We have been fortunate to get to know him over the years and hes been there through all the ups and downs. Hes diagnosed illnesses when other physicians blew us off or when the E.R. Made a mistake. He has been a blessing to our family. Yes the wait can be long which we have experienced elsewhere as well for appointments. Thats just the nature of a busy office. The difference is that we are not rushed once we are seen and we meet with the doctor every time not a nurse or assistant. I wish all doctors were like him. Hes definitely the gold standard.

Ignore the one star comments Dr. Pupo was recommended to me by a family friend. She took her kids all to see him the last 27 years I had the pleasure of meeting him he was an awesome doctor and handle my daughter as I would. Great staff and great place so what if people had to wait a little long you didnt die Some days people get busy or sick If you have an emergency youd go to an ER and wait twice as long.
