The medical care was good but the check in experience was very frustrating. I arrived BEFORE they opened and the girl checking me in was so slow on the computer that when the other checker opened her window she managed to check in 3 people who came in after me and so they all got seen first. We all had to wait anyway so I dont understand why there need to be two people racing to check people in. How lucky you get with the receptionists computer skills who checks you in will determine when you get seen not who gets there first.

On June 30th 2023 I sought assistance at Loma Linda University Urgent Care at 25825 Redlands Blvd due to a persistent high fever. Unfortunately the initial doctor couldnt identify the cause. I returned to the Urgent Care on July 2nd that I was fortunate to encounter Dr. J. Brice. Her thorough examination including a CT scan revealed pneumonia. Dr. Brice promptly prescribed antibiotics administered an injection and advised a follow-up the next day with her.Dr. Brices exceptional care extended beyond the diagnosis. Faced with difficulties securing a timely follow-up with a family doctor she personally intervened making phone calls to ensure I received an appointment within a week bypassing the initially scheduled date in August. Following her guidance my fever subsided and subsequent treatment from another doctor facilitated my recovery. What deeply resonated with me was not just Dr. Brices medical expertise but also her compassionate approach reminiscent of a mother caring for her children. As Christmas approaches my heartfelt gratitude extends to Dr. Brice. I wholeheartedly recommend this Urgent Care clinic not only for its outstanding medical care but also for doctors like Dr. Brice who consistently go above and beyond for their patients.Thank you Dr. Brice and the entire nice team at the urgent care facility for your unwavering commitment to patient well-being. December 19 2023The following review was posted in 2022 for another visit at this clinic This is the best urgent care facility. In other places waiting for 3-5 hours at urgent care is normal. There is no waiting here. The staff and doctor are very nice very professional. I have received the very best care and I feel so good. I will recommend this urgent care to all my friends if they need find one nearby.

Loma linda University urgent care has some very friendly and helpful employees staff.Had to come here for a sports physical for one of our children.Due to our regular physician not being able to do it for a few months. So we decided to come here after the high-school water polo coach recommended them.It cost 25 dollars. It was super easy and fast.Overall it was a great experience.

I was suggested this place by a doctor friend - I called ahead to check if they took my insurance to save time. The man on the phone informed me they dont take my insurance so I asked about the price of a self-pay urgent care visit which he informed me was 128.I thought alright not too bad so decided to pay a visit anyway since it was close to where Im staying. Once I got there the lady at the reception asked for my insurance I told her Im self-paying and had already established they dont take my insurance. She said that would be insurance fraud and that she cant let me self-pay if I have an existing insurance. I was confused so she brought out the man I called with this morning. He came out and said quite rudely to me I told you the price of a self-pay visit but never said we were allowed to let you do one. Then once he had established his point with rude down-putting hand gestures and in an argumentative fashion he left while I was still asking questionstrying to figure out a solution without any offer of help. The lady was nicer actually recommending another urgent care place nearby. Not only was the staff illogical over the phone if someone asks about the price of self-pay bc you dont take their insurance maybe let them know you cant take that - professional friends I consulted agree with this - but the staff was also very rude in particular the tall man whose name I didnt get. They also were not helpful at all in offering a logical explanation as to why I couldnt self-pay most non-medical field people would not know about the policies so it would be helpful to explain why it was insurance fraud - which I still dont have an answer for right now.Usually Id recommend something like call ahead but I obviously I did that already here so my best recommendation is to try somewhere else that has clearer guidelines. I ended up going to another urgent care that didnt take my insurance but let me self-pay. Still not sure why Loma Linda didnt.
