If I could give zero stars I could My husband has been receiving care here and being medicated. He ran out of refills and didnt realize until he was already running out of pills. He contacted the center for more refills and was told that he needed an in-person appointment. Fine. But they absolutely refused to give a partial refill while he waits for the appointment. So now he is going to be going through medication withdrawals for a week before he can be seen. As a nurse myself this is infuriating and disgusting. I cant believe anywhere would treat patients like this

Setting the gold standard of mental health walk in care. Even in the middle of a crisis I couldnt help but notice the commitment these folks have to helping those in need. Every one of the individuals I interacted with treated me with kindness compassion and amazingly anticipated my needs according to my circumstances. During a crisis this type of care is what is really needed along with the knowledge expertise in understanding psychiatry mental health...Much gratitude to each of them.

Shares private information that is medical with people who are not part of medical field. Violates HIPPA laws. Do not trust the people they send.

I had a good interaction with staff. I could tell they were put off by my firearm ownership but they provided a nice locking box with cable to keep it secure which was awesome and saved me 40. I was able to get a bunch of resources and it took one hour. The staff was friendly.Highly recommended for those who could benefit from such services.

I now know this place is where you go if you already have established mental health services. I went here because I have been having suicidal thoughts snd an active plan since my daughters death a month ago. First person brings me into an intake room filled with children and baby toys when I literally just had a stillbirth a month ago. And they knew this because I wrote it on the paperwork when I first arrived. This made me want to cry but I tried to hold it together. Then after that a second person brings me back and from the first interaction with the first person my depression was a lot worse. I told them I had suicidal thoughts and a plan of overdosing on pills and I wanted to try to get a new medication because mine is no longer working. Then they tell me that the medication provider cannot see me until Wednesday two days later. When I literally have been having active suicidal thoughts for weeks . Maybe I didnt seem convincing enough for them because they didnt suggest hospitalization or any other treatment. The person I saw just wanted to do a safety plan which I have already done before myself. I ended up walking out due to frustration and lack of thoughtfulness. The first time I went here 5 years ago it was wonderful and I was able to get psych medicine the same day. Now all they did was basically try to do a safety plan with me my emotions are too strong for a safety plan right now I needed active help and intervention. Not going here again nor do I recommend it to anyone.

Dont waste your time best this place can do for you is refer you to other locations. They dont actually do anything. Dont bother asking your care-team about what services are provided by the firms they recommend you too Google will give you more accurate. results and save you the time of going down and talking to these unprofessional wannabe doctors. Its amazing that in this day and age someone can seek out help and 3 weeks later still be in the exact same spot. Terrible business.

They were all super nice treated me with respect and I did feel I was listened to but overall not the help I was expecting. I thought it would ultimately lead to some type of meaningful therapy but all it really is is someone to listen to you right now hence them calling themselves a crisis center and then peer support calls help with applying to OHP therapy referrals.

Really helpful. I felt totally listened to heard and most importantly understood. I went to Providence St. Vincent after this and that was an AWFUL mistake. If youre really in need of help these people are really good at understanding exactly what you need. My counselor was originally assigned to me to assess my safety and she spent extra time counseling me and making me feel comfortable because she could tell that was actually what I needed. I cant wait to work more with the Hawthorne walk in center and they even offered to call me to check in on me after my horrible experience at Providence.

I was really excited to hear about the Hawthorn walk-in Center. Ive been left behind several times with mental health before. I went last Thursday and was full of hope when I left the meeting I was told I would get a call the next day with resources and possibly medication and scheduled follow-up appointment. 4 days later I still havent heard anything. When even the emergency Mental Health facilitators just forget about you it really makes it clear how worthless people feel you are in life

Extremely kind and supportive... Even before Ive seen anyoneUpon coming here I talked to the staff and they were soft and very warm. Their services are FREE if you have no insuranceAfterwards someone came out and asked everyone if they wanted any snacks and offered drinks as well. This would be a 5 star review if they charged for their services but the fact they this is open to everyone wished I could give 10
