Terri is absolutely amazing She has been helping my daughter tremendously. My 7 year old daughter loves going to see Terri and always says it was the best part of her day. Terri has gotten to know my daughter so well and has created goals that they have worked together to master and she has taught me how to practice at home too in a way that is natural and totally doable. My daughter has made great progress. The Shea Center is such an incredible place to practice speech because there are so many natural encounters to practice the new speech sounds. For example my daughter will practice the r sound with Terri and then they will go tell all the horses in the barn the new sound my daughter is doing. It is sooo fun and highly reinforcing in such a positive and natural way. I just cant say enough good things about Terri and the Shea Center. She truly cares and makes it so fun and I learn so much too My daughter has grown so much We have been to lots of wonderful SLPs but Terri at the Shea Center is just above and beyond this place is extremely special and I am so grateful.

We had the most wonderful experience with Life Spirit and the therapist Angelique specifically. Our little one was initially diagnosed with speech delays and started therapy early in 2021. She is now August 2021 talking up a storm She expresses herself very well and has surpassed the norm for her age.All of this happened during Covid of course and Angelique was very flexible and understanding when we had to use Zoom during periods of isolation. Of course we all loved visiting the Shea Center when we could and interacting with the horses was so wonderful for our little one.Even tho Angelique was constantly working her magic during the sessions it never felt like therapy or school. Rather it was always a very relaxed and fun experience that we looked forward to twice a week.We are so happy for the progress made with our little one but we will miss Miss Angie terribly.

As the Clinical Fieldwork Coordinator for the graduate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Chapman University I have placed many graduate students with the Lead Speech Language Pathologist Terri. She is outstanding in training these students in working with children and adults with multiple challenges. Students gain from her comprehensive knowledge of the field plus working with horses at the Shea Center. Students rave about Terri and Chapman is so fortunate to have Life Spirit Speech as one of our clinical affiliations.

Terri is an excellent therapist and teacher. I had the pleasure of shadowing her work as a volunteer and intern. She truly cares for her clients and is very patient.

Have been seeing Terri for over a year. Seeing my daughter grow and gain confidence as her language development strengthens is amazing. The knowledge ability to work with all types of personalities and ages Terri is amazing to work with. What sets her apart is the enviornment is always spot on for whatever mood my little one is and will hold her attention span the longest. Its not a normal everyday speech that we have experienced in the past where the child just sits and repeats words. Life spirit provides a hands on approach fresh air when needed and the perfect guiding hand. Terri is an absolute pleasure to work with. When your little one gets excited to come every week and you see improvement its a win win situation for all.

Life spirit speech is an amazing clinic I have been an intern at several places and this place surpasses all. Clients have the option to use the gym area go on walks and see horses that are on site Terri really cares about her clients and goes above and beyond to make sure they succeed. This place is excellent I have been going for half a year roughly and it has improved my speech and my life tremendously. My sessions have been with Terri and I have to say she really knows her stuff. She has taught me various techniques that I have been able to successfully implement into my everyday life.
