I spoke with Stephanie who made me feel stupid for not knowing how to file divorce and messing up along the way. She kept saying the divorce guide is self explanatory. She had me crying. Then when i asked if she is a real lawyer she got defensive and wasnt going to call me back. You wait 2 hours just for someone to give u an appointment 2 weeks from then Depends on who u get i guess

Have nothing bad to say. Great lawyers. Very helpful organized. Work hard for you your case. They helped me very much. I finally got Social Security. SSI. I had too wait but it paid off they never gave up. Highly recommend. If you have low income or welfare.

Im poor needed help and they provided almost none.One lady Stephenie was rude and ignorant.They need to find better people ones that know how to be civil.Most people going through a divorce are already having problems they dont need to be insulted and treated rudely.

Well I have to say that Ms. Agata Papas handled my tax issues like a professional and gave me the relief from the terror I was facing with the IRS. She was always guick to answer my emails and went handled all the work I gave her so quickly. I recommend her highly. Thank you to Ms. Papas.

Completely RUDE and the intake specialist hung up on me once I asked her what her name is after talking to me as if Im a child For a nonprofit organization that is supposed to serve the community and help others in their time of need they need better training and should be completely ashamed of themselves for the despicable customer service. So much for offering advice or legal support

Horrible Someone nasty named SallyA Told me what she believed about New Jersey law and it was incorrect that New Jersey is a two-party consent law state.B Was impatient and aggressive and clearly did not care about my safety. She didnt advise me on what I called about something that threatens my safety. She told me to focus on something I was already working on.I had to tell her I have some trouble communicating because she kept cutting me off and she yelled at me when she did. She still lost her patience with me even after I told her and made me feel stupid.

I understand its a free legal service but I really didnt get any call back or any answers to the questions that I had so I really dont have to hire for waiting for them

Horrible Wasted 5 days of valuable time making me think they were going to assist me. The girl Aleksandra was very sweet but was very young and inexperienced and kept saying she had to speak to her supervisor or she had to ask permission. She did not have a grasp on things at all. After telling me she could provide a letter to me to give to my landlord several days later she basically said they wouldnt help me at all. This is when I found out shes the junior attorney. Im sorry but if you have to keep asking your supervisor questions then you should just be observing and not acting like you are an attorney just because you have the credentials. They are playing with peoples lives and in the end just waste your time and add to your stress. Pointless. Just go to a real attorney if you can.

This office should be shut down. The lawyers seem like they JUST MADE cut to pass the bar exam. Communication is horrible and it leaves you feeling hopeless. We all arent as lucky as people with money and unfortunately have this as an only option. Social security lawyers dont respond in timely fashion for appeals and leave you mentally drained. Just pray to your God that things will work better because this office IS NOT CAPABLE OF RETURNING A PHONE CALL OR SENDING YOUR INFORMATION TO YOU IN A TIMELY MANNER. Absolutely FIND ANOTHER LEGAL SERVICE THAN THIS.

I would not advise going through the Legal Services of New Jersey They are all around nasty especially to those less fortunate. Its absolutely appalling...

They will definitely help you and guide you. They just dont like you see a psych and tell you to leave. You also see a therapist. And now theyre adding case managers which is a blessing they help you with everything from the housing to jobs
