Legal Aid Foundation - Long Beach Office

Is a good place for those who need assistance and free consultation but not for anyone I have a trouble issue inside my apartment with coakroach and bugs and my case was not accepted. They gave me a list of others lawyer but not for free one of them asked me 175 for an online consultation. I reported this situation to the City Hall on February 20th and 22nd and until today I didnt receive back from them. The property manager didnt take action yet until today.

I went to Legal aid foundation of Long Beach and was helped by a young paralegal by the name of Kristina. I had a vacate notice and was able to get help filling out a great deal of paperwork with her guidance. Amazing people. Try and show up at the office it makes for a better interaction. God bless all

I know they are busy but both times I needed legal advice it took them too long to reply I had to go elsewhere. Thank you anyway for helping others.i mean that in a sincere way. But I was evicted and homeless now but not your fault.

Great paralegal Brenda LUM very helpful as well as a highly qualified team of lawyers are effective and knowledgeable to help people with SSi problems.

Pretty rude just called and they werent able to help. I asked for referrals and said to look it up and then hung up on me.

Rude people picking up the calls. Never have I felt more disrespected in my life. Shy of calling me a curse word lupita or what ever her name is had the patience of a 2 year old and proceeded to place me on hold a number of times just because she wasnt informed on how to assist me. Adding insult to injury when I asked for her name she said she would not place me on hold again. I said I will not be put on hold because you do not want to tell me your name. She told me and it was hard to pronounce. When I asked her how to soell it she place me in hold again. This kind of childish behavior coming from someone that is supposed to be professional is not acceptable. I cant imagine the people they work for being pleased with lupita and lack of concern or care for the people calling the office.Find another office and avoid this location...

Just got off the phone with a representative after waiting 15 minutes for a representative to answer. The tone of the lady over the phone was very rushed. I needed to ask a few questions about what kind of paper work I would need to the the intake but she quickly hangs up on me. The only thing she ask was where i was located and then tells me when to come in. After that hung up with out asking if I had any other questions. I know places like these have high volume ofcalls so it has to be done quick but you still need put on a great customer service attitude. It took me alot of energy for me to make this call due to my anxiety and this made me feel worst. I gave it a 3 because the waiting for a rep. Didnt take too long and I havent been to the office as yet. Ill see how it works out tomorrow

No one answers the phone or hangs up before you can respond. The call back option hangs up on you when you answer. This is pathetic. They receive federal grant money. Someone needs to know about this poor use of federal and state funds.I also tried to get help before and the lawyer was not willing to give their time after I was approved albeit I was a bit last minute due to their hotline. I am a very polite young professional who needs help. I thought they are here for us.I do stress to be patient because Im sure most of the people there want to help.
