Founding Story
Shelley J. Dostie, OTR/L, is a seasoned Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over three decades of experience in the field. Since 1994, Shelley has been dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and adolescents, guiding them on their journey to optimal development and independence.
Having previously owned and operated Crossroads Therapeutics, LLC, located in Connecticut, Shelley demonstrated her commitment to providing top-notch therapeutic services to her community. Her practice was known for its personalized approach, tailored to meet the unique needs of each child under her care. She is the Founder/CEO of Learning on A Curve, a comprehensive educational support service offering Occupational Therapy Family Coaching, Alternative Paths to College Credit, Neurodivergent Coaching, Tutoring, and more. Through Learning on A Curve, Shelley continues to make a profound impact on the lives of neurodivergent students and their families, facilitating their journey toward success and fulfillment.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Shelley is a devoted homeschooling mother to two daughters, both of whom navigate the challenges of learning disabilities. For seventeen years, she has been intricately involved in their educational journey, employing her expertise as an Occupational Therapist to create supportive learning environments that nurture their growth and success.
Shelley's passion lies in empowering neurodivergent students to unlock their full potential, identify their passions, and embrace their innate gifts. Through her guidance and support, she helps these individuals navigate the world with confidence and resilience, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in both academic and everyday life.
