Learning Independence Through Computers (LINC) is a non-profit computer resource center that provides opportunities for people with disabilities; their families; professionals; and members of the business community to explore adaptive technology; computer systems; software; and the Internet. The organization's objective is to help people with disabilities fulfill their potential for productivity at home; at school; at the workplace; and in the community.;Their mission is Learning Independence Through Computers (LINC) is a consumer-based resource center which provides opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to use computer technology to achieve independence and productivity in personal and community life.;They conduct training for adults and children with disabilities; parents and professionals. Hands-on training for parents of children with disabilities in the use of assistive technology. Parents are made aware of assistive technology tools; strategies and funding sources.
