Dr. Clamp and his Ophthalmology team were friendly professional and efficient. I was called into the office at my appointment time and there was almost no wait time once I was in the office. My situation was assessed quickly and thoroughly and a solution was determined and implemented on the spot. Dr. Clamp explained the procedure made me feel comfortable did his work efficiently and reviewed the aftercare. The results were spectacularly positive. My eyesight was instantly 50 clearer and brighter.

Dr. Kaw was superb. She diagnosed an eye issue that had stumped other eye specialists in NYC and worried me but she said it was harmless explained what was going on and gave me an informative reading to take home. The exam was efficient and also excellent. And she is a kind person who doesnt rush you.

this Dr is the best cardiologist i ever had. Knowledge base is excellent. keeping me informed excellent. His over all plan for what i currently have follows the guidelines of the American Heart Association to the a T and more.. i am so happy with this Dr. i recommend Him and Kaiser for the the Quality of service . i left Tucson Arizona because of their low quality of medical service .. My Kaiser is magnificent. My Dr is a giant among giants. I am so very confident in his abilities. The assistants and nurses have never failed me. Facilities are clean and well laid out. Everything is so convenient. part of me wants to keep the secret

We were getting ready to leave the house for a weekend in Mendocino to celebrate our 40th anniversary. Stupidly I hurried to clear some bushes in order for our outside lights to work well for our house sitter. In the process I sliced my wedding ring finger with the pruning shears. I knew right away that it was a deep cut. Kaiser Urgent Care got me in right away. Even though I couldnt get an appointment with a doctor until 1.5 hours later they put me in a room so that I didnt have to deal with my bloody finger in the waiting room. Although the nurse took a photo of my injury the doctor came in to see for himself before my appointment determined that I needed stitches and then even succeeded in getting my wedding ring off instead of having to cut it off. Both the nurse and doctor made me feel like a person and not a number. The doctor was supposed to have his break the same time as my official appointment but offered to treat me anyway since we already had a doctor-patient relationship established. I appreciated that very much and took him up on his offer. It was the best possible outcome for such a bonehead move on my part. We left from Kaiser and headed directly to Mendocino where we enjoyed a wonderful weekend. Glad I was able to wear my wedding ring on my other hand

From the ease of check-in and the friendliness of the staff at the desk. The nurse kept me at ease with her attentiveness to my questions and the efficient and professional manner the doctor conducted treatment. And the quick turn around at the pharmacy was the icing. I am always satisfied at the whole experience every time I come for my appointments at Kaiser.

The Doctor is quite competent and she is not the problem. The problem is several fold. One is when I make an appointment online I am only able to see a small of available slots. The only other way is a phone call to schedule and the phone system puts the caller through a long drawn out maze of questions before you can reach a live breathing human to schedule. It was my annual exam. I did my blood work in advance. I wanted to do both an annualy physical and skin exam which has been recommended to me. The problem is that each appointment is limited to 20 minutes and so you are lucky to even get part of one of these things done in that allowed time slot. Knowing this I booked 2 back to back appointments on line. A week prior to the appointment the staff cancelled one of them saying that I cannot have 2 appointments in the same day. This required me to go through the above drawn out customer experience to get another appointment. Conclusion Your online customer experience for booking an appointment is extremely low given other similar systems available. Second your automated phone system is also a very poor customer experience because it does not provide adequate choices and takes a long time to finally get what you want. Third your appointments do NOT allow me to state my purpose e.g. Annual Skin Exam etc. and does NOT allow enough time to handle my annual needs. I do not expect this message or rating to have any effect but I suppose it allows me to sound off.

Your surgery dept is very limited. Just general surgeons who are as hammers that see every problem as a nail. You definitely have a population base in this region large enough to add some specialists that would take a more modern and sophisticated approach to some very common concerns. You might also try educating your doctors away from just surgery andor pills as potential solutions. Lastly some of the prerequisites for certain procedures like enduring a prescription before a common endoscopy that could prevent or discover so much wastes precious time that could catch things early on.

The doctors assistant phoned insisting that I come in person for test results. I asked if this could be done on the phone. NO I was told. I waited in a closed windowless treatment room for an hour before the doctor finally came in. About 45 minutes into the wait I received a cell phone call from a medical assistant stating that the doctor wanted me to hear my test results on the phone and then go home. I was agog...insisted on seeing the doctor. When she finally come in her attitude was diffident and hostile. She told me if I didnt like waiting I should find another doctor essentially blaming me for not accepting her unacceptable conduct. PATIENTS HAVE RIGHTS Especially elderly ones with medical issues that need to be addressed..
