Introduction

Hello! At this time, I exclusively offer virtual services and work with clients aged 13+.

I specialize in working with individuals with ADHD, helping them build sustainable systems in focus, organization, executive functioning, and sensory needs. I also support clients with autism, mood and anxiety disorders, and neurological conditions such as stroke and Parkinson’s disease. I take a strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming approach that blends practical tools with compassion and flexibility—so therapy feels supportive, not stressful. My goal is to help each client find meaningful routines and confidence in daily life. When I'm not in therapy sessions, you can find me painting, playing with my toddler and dog, and exploring San Francisco parks.

What words would you use to describe yourself?

creative
attentive
empathetic
As an occupational therapist, I strive to create a space where people feel truly seen and heard. My creativity helps me design supports that are fun, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s strengths. Whether I’m collaborating with a teen navigating executive functioning challenges or supporting an adult in finding sustainable routines, I bring a grounded presence, deep listening, and a flexible mindset to the work we do together.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I’m best positioned to serve clients navigating ADHD, executive function challenges, or life changes that affect daily routines. I also support individuals recovering from neurological conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s, or TBI, as well as those managing anxiety, depression, or sensory overwhelm. My clients are often motivated to make changes but feel stuck or overstimulated by where to start. Together, we create realistic systems and strategies that make daily life feel more doable and aligned with their values. I’m less well-positioned to support very young children or families seeking early intervention, as my training and experience have been more focused on older populations and empowering autonomy.

    Beaming Review

Lauren is amazing! She was so creative in developing exercises that were specific to my mom's unique challenges and disabilities. She also was fabulous in helping me find/create ways to maneuver my mom around the house and her daily needs that were the best and safest for both my mom and me! Her kindness, gentleness, compassion yet firmness were priceless. My mom took to her and listened to her which was in itself a miracle.

    Beaming Review

Working with Lauren at Kindly Neuro feels like exhaling after holding my breath too long. She brings humor, warmth, empathy, and compassion to every session, creating a space where I feel seen and supported, no masking required. Her approach to accountability is kind and realistic, helping me honor my energy instead of fighting it. Lauren reminds me that my ADHD brain isn’t broken, it’s simply wired for creativity, depth, and intuition. I’m learning to rest without guilt and to celebrate the way my mind works; a little sideways, a little offbeat, and beautifully mine.

    Beaming Review

By the end of his first session with Lauren, our son was demonstrating a greater awareness of his own emotions. Through his continued work with her, he has significantly improved his emotional regulation skills and coping strategies and is proud of the qualities that he is developing in himself – not the least of which is a resilient and positive mindset. Thank you Lauren for all that you have helped him achieve!
