First and foremost, it is important to me that you know that I see you as a whole person, beyond your diagnosis and treatment plan. Healing is more than regaining skills, it is about rebuilding a meaningful life and a sense of belonging.

If aligned with your goals, I integrate components of wellness coaching into your treatment. As a Licensed LoveYourBrain Yoga Instructor, I incorporate evidence-based mind-body practices including: nervous system regulation, breathwork, adaptive neuro-yoga, meditation/mindfulness strategies, and somatic movement/dance-based practices.

My goal is not only to help you recover your personal baseline or maintain independence, but to help you develop resilience, adaptability, and a sense of meaning through belonging.

We’ll explore the important difference between recovery (returning to what once was) and resilience (through adversity cultivating a richer, more full lived experience and perspective).

These words best describe the space I intend to hold for you as one member of your support system along our discovery season together. I like to view our time together a time of discovery and resilience building rather than recovery. I am curious and patient. I recognize that trust is earned and my ultimate goal is create a space of belonging to then explore areas of healing. I am eager to learn from you as we explore how we can both become more adaptable and co-regulate along side each other. My work focuses on providing a grounded, embodied approach to both physical and emotional resilience building.

Who are you best positioned to serve?

I help individuals with neurological conditions regain independence, confidence, and quality of life. I specialize in supporting people living with neurodegenerative conditions (such as Parkinson’s Disease and dementia) and acquired brain injuries (including stroke and TBI). I am a Certified Speak Out! Provider with Parkinson's Voice Project and a Licensed LoveYourBrain Neuro Yoga Instructor.
