Lakeview Center - Pathway (Shalimar)

I have nothing but positive feedback for this treatment center because thats exactly what this is. It treats not only the addiction but the mind as well. My counselor Kris has helped me just within a year and a half to completely shift my way of thinking and get to the root of my issues. I would encourage anyone needing help with opiate addiction to let this team of wonderful people help change their life as well.

I am THRILLED to update this review.I went in this morning and was told that my case had been reassessed and that I would be immediately returned to phase 27This tells me a lot...It tells me that they actually cared enough to consider that the drive might be a hardship. they didnt have to do that but they did and I deeply appreciate it. It also tells me that they are willing to put some trust in me and that goes a very long way towards me trusting them and it makes me want to show them that trust is not misplaced.Bottom line they actually cared enough and I am very pleased.Now if they could get a camera bathroom it would be perfect. I understand it is a community bathroom and as such a camera in there would be a problem but there has to be a better way.I can say that I HIGHLY recommend this treatment center they did right by me when they didnt have to and that should tell you all you need to know.Thanks YallWhile I appreciate the service these people provide the experience is not a good one. I was a phase 27 patient for 3 years in the Atlanta area and had to relocate to the Florida panhandle. This was the only clinic that takes my insurance and its a 90 mile drive each way but I figured once a month would be doable...wrong I had to come weekly for 2 months and twice a month for another..I never failed a drug test and they had a 5 plus year history from my previous clinic....as if that wasnt bad enough they stand with you in a tiny bathroom while you pee in a cup this is both humiliating and abusive every clinic Ive been to uses cameras not this one. If you are an established patient I highly recommend you seek other options doctors can now prescribe suboxone that may be a better route for you. I strongly recommend Lakeview update its policies rehab should be easier than maintaining an addiction and here it is not. Its better to help people than to humiliate them addiction is bad enough by itself. Ps I am self admitted nobody made me seek help and the Atlanta clinic healthqwest was wonderful they treated us well and when we made the effort we were rewarded and celebrated milestones. Cameras are cheap these days...get one your patients and your employees deserve it.

Dont go here. They will not follow up with you like they say they will. Forget trying to get in touch with any therapist you will not revive a call back. There is a lady named Gina that works there. She distains people that are addicted to drugs. Shell make an appointment for you and cancel it. She will keep canceling it and playing games with you. She is horrible. That is an awful place. Somebody needs to fire that lady she has absolutely no empathy for people who are addicted to drugs

Down here on vacation and this morning was the first morning I had to guest dose. Was nervous about how it would go. Got there and was in and out in 15 minutes or less. Very nice and professional staff. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone else that would need to guest dose.

I know a lot of people dislike the idea of using a drug to combat another but for some its the only sure way to live and make it through the day. There would be no way I am where I am now without my treatment plan. Instead of worrying about money to buy stuff off the street I can finally say Im more worried about how much I make in returns on a crypto investment. Worrying about money making money is a helluva lot more enjoyable.

I have been going to the clinic now for seven years and it truly saved my life I cant imagine that I would still be alive if I had not made the decision to go here. As long as you work the program like you are supposed to then you should do well here. I have a great counselor and the doctors and nurses have been amazing

I specifically looked up where to right a review for this place. I have never been to a more proficient and professional place like this one before. We were visiting from out of town and was so worried about taking a vacation down to Florida. We were affraid of getting all the way down there and not be able to dose. We have run into problems like this before where people are disorganized and didnt call to check or have anything in order. Lakeview was on top of there game from jump street. Which was a breathe of fresh air. The longest we waited in line was 10 minutes which in my state you could be waiting hours. I didnt bother to catch names but I know the lady that checks you in with all the nice jewelry is super nice. To the nurses in the back I know one was from BeaumontTx. Yall were great. Its good to know that there are people who do still care and treat you like a human being instead of looking at you like your just another product of society going bad. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

I had attended here for over 4 years and my overall experience was a positive one. If you are serious about your recovery then this is the place for you. If youre not willing to put in the effort to meet maintain the ongoing treatment requirements or looking to cheat the system then go to another clinic.Most of the people Ive heard complain about this place are those who are not serious about staying clean and following the rules. Yes they are strict here but very fair. They are strict for your benefit. Each member of the staff I dealt with the entire time I was there did genuinely care about the patients and their sobriety.There are tons of pros about this clinic. The only con that I could say about the Shalimar Lakeview is that there were a few times where the communication with the counselors was difficult. Getting in-touch with them or getting a timely call back was an issue a few times. It seemed that they may have had too many patients to manage but did the best they could do.This program saved my life and helped me save my family. Starting this treatment program is not a decision to make lightly. It is not right or cut out for everyone. For the right individual who meets the requirements is willing to do the work required follow the rules and take it seriously... Lakeview Center can help you to make the positive life changes it takes to succeed in your sobriety.

Update In my previous post I was truly upset with the clinic and for very good reason. However there was a woman named Mary that I met. She had my best interest at heart and helped me with getting set up on a good plan for my medical needs. She took her time out to make a difference in my life. I wish there were more Marys in this world. Especially at this clinic. I got set up with a great counselor too. This councelor cares about me as well. My experience got better but I had to threatenkick scream and beg before I was treated with respect and dignity.Original post In my opinion The lakeview nurses are nasty and ugly to their patients. The center cares only about money and not their patients. They dont have one ounce of kindness in their hearts for anyone but themselves. I have heard the nurses talk so bad about the patients. Men and women. I would never suggest going there. I would go to any other clinic but theirs. I had to transfer. I saw the writting on the wall. Never will go back. The councelors are a joke. I dont understand why they are even there. If they cant even help you in their own clinic house how can they help you in any other aspect of your lives Also. Depts blame other depts for any problems you have in their clinic. Its always someones elses fault. They are perfectly able to help but choose not to even if they have all the supplies and time in the world. Dont ever go to recover here. They definitely dont have your best interest at heart.
