Inconsistent and disappointing experience. For months our son was placed in a group with constant teacher changes, high churn. When he finally reached the next level, found a good teacher, and settled into a stable group, it was suddenly announced that he was "too weak" and moved out. This happened after 6 weeks of him building trust and attachment to his new coach and kids , leaving him hurt and discouraged. For context: the group was labeled 3-4, and he was level 3. A swim school should build confidence, not undermine it. If the goal was truly to "do good for us," then where was that support during all the months of struggling in a poorly structured group? And instead of pressuring us to change my kid's setting, why not offer constructive alternatives like private lessons and providing us a list of skills they needed him to improve, no “he is not good” - to help our son succeed without feeling rejected?
