KinderCare - Indian Harbour

Visited prior to enrolling kids - no cameras in the building at all. Too many children for the adults to keep up with. Preschool room had kids screaming and wrestling for a toy on the floor that went unnoticed. The teacher was helping another screaming child at the time while the other who was in and out throughout the morning was taking photos of other kids easily misleading Id say. Another boy was chewing on a toy and kicking a girl in the stomach while she was trying to read - when she yelled at him to stop she was told to not use those words and go read somewhere else to give him space. That boy should have been in time out and a call home - Im assuming the teacher just didnt seeunderstand the situation because the place was a madhouse. A 4 year old walked up to me and screamed ahh in my face because other kids were talking to me and I guess he was jealous idk. Sick kids EVERYWHERE. The ladies with the younger kids look desperate for help - very little structure or education happening just wild toddlers running and puking and sneezing thick mucus and coughing all over the place. The teachers were all nice and seemed to be doing their best but need some help handling the kids - especially the sick mean ones. I understand its a daycare but the preschool portion at least should be held to a higher standard.

I cannot say enough good things about the Indian Harbour Beach KinderCare The staff is friendly compassionate and truly care about each of the children there. Their communication is top notch and allows me to have peace of mind throughout the day. Theyve adjusted their policies and procedures flawlessly to deal with the pandemic while still creating an atmosphere for the children to thrive.

I cant say enough good things about this DaycareMy daughter started here when she was 9 weeks old. She has been there for about 5 weeks now. Because she is my third I have a lot of daycare experience and I knew what I was looking for in a center. I toured 5 other facilities before I settled on this one even though it was the furthest from my home or work. The Directors Nancy and Cherrie are positive helpful and responsive. They exude passion and commitment for their staff and students.Before she started I was able to call the center and talk to the teachers in the infant room. They talked me through her schedules their policies and what to expect. They reassured me in so many ways and never got frustrated when I would call multiple times with questions. I knew even before she started that the staff here cared for my baby as an individual. They have always been professional and kind. I have never once encountered an unhappy or unfriendly staff member at this facility.The first week was rough on me but not on my baby. The staff made sure she had a seamless transition. They asked questions about her preferences and schedules and made sure to keep her comfortable and happy. I of course was a wreck. I called them to check in on her at least 3x a day for the first week. Every time I called regardless of how many times I called they answered the phone and happily gave me a report on my sweet girl. They have an app where they update her fluids diapers and sleep in real-time. The app is an incredibly valuable tool and I rely on it heavily to know what is happening with my baby. I receive at least 2 pictures a day of my baby and she is always smiling Shes never upset when I drop her off or pick her up. No matter who comes out in the morning to get her they always talk so sweet to her. It is clear that every staff member at this center loves and cares for these kids like they are their children. I cant say enough good things about the infant room teachers Angela Leslie and Carol. They are true baby whisperers. Since my baby started here she is sleeping better has a better routine and fusses less. They keep me updated on her progress needs and moods. These women have my trust confidence and adoration.The center takes every health precaution to protect its staff and students. I have never seen an employee without a proper fit and worn mask an individual enter the building without a temp check or any other unsanitary practice. Infant linens are washed by the center daily and I had the chance to observe the sanitization practices on my tour. I had absolutely no concerns about the health of my newborn when I walked through this facility.Child care is so expensive these days but I feel like I am getting a steal at this center. My daughters formula is included with our cost. Honestly I would pay much more to have my daughter at this center than I do. Indian Harbor Kinder Care has become a second home for my daughter and I will be keeping her here until she starts school.

Cherrie and Nancy run a fantastic VPK program. We are so happy with their genuine care and attention to our childs needs. The teachers are also fantastic kind and caring.

We have been going to KinderCare for about a year and have very much enjoyed our experience. We love that this center has very infrequent closures for holidays which is very useful for two full time working parents. Also the teachers and managers are very friendly and easy to communicate with. Our child always seems very happy and well cared for every day we pick her up.

The ladies at the Indian Harour Kindercare are truly the best. My Little One enjoys going to school and is learning so very much. Thank You for caring.
