Dr. Kimel was sensitive and kind. The evaluation she provided was extremely valuable for both my daughter and our extended family. She was very detailed and thorough in the assessment as well as gathering of family history. During the testing process her patience allowed my daughter to feel comfortable and accepted. Follow up with Dr. Kimel and her office staff was timely and efficient. I would highly recommend this provider.

Dr. Kimel was absolutely wonderful to work with. She made what can be a scary and difficult process very comfortable and safe - and as someone that struggles with intense anxiety this is the highest possible praise. I have only positive things to say about her and her team truly a godsend.

Dr. Kimels psychological assessment for our son was life-changingfor him and for our entire family. He had been struggling in school since 6th grade and was about to start high school. His therapist recommended Dr. Kimel because she felt there was something more going on than his initial diagnosis of anxiety panic disorder. Dr. Kimels approach was extremely through and her final report outlined his diagnoses and provided tons of recommendations for next steps. She was patient with him and with us throughout the process and took time to walk us through her results in great detail. Our son truly appreciated having some terms he could apply to how he was experiencing school relationships and the world. Her work enabled us to engage with him in different ways that support his needs and personality and enabled us to work with his school to get him the learning support he needs. I was an adult seeking an evaluation and this is one of the few places I was able to find that evaluated adults and also accepted Medicaid at least at the time of my search. I worked primarily with Caren who was so patient thorough and kind during the whole process from the evaluation to initial feedback and to diagnosis. I was very nervous but Caren and Lila both made me feel welcome and that I was in good hands. Finding a practice that was able to accept Medicaid was huge for me and the resources and follow-up provided have allowed me more clarity as I move forward in life.

Raising a neurodiverse child has always been a challenge. The teen years have been a time of constant flux. We have been so fortunate to have been directed to Dr. Lila Kimel. Our teen was really struggling in public school. Dr. Kimel evaluated him and came up with a structured plan for navigating the schools IEP504. During that time our son continued therapy with Lila Kimel allowing him to become comfortable with school and Dr. Kimel helped set the framework to transition to college. She has helped him develop strategies to better interact with students and educators and has helped him broaden his social endeavors. She has truly been a godsend to our family and I recommend her without reservation

Lila is an amazing psychologist and she knows exactly what she is doing She takes her job very seriously. I noticed all of her efforts as she evaluated my son for autism and she has given my family and I a great amount of support and resources so that we can continue to get the help my son needs I highly recommend scheduling with her

Dr. Kimel and her assistant are absolutely amazing not only with my son but also me. You cannot find a better place to get an assessment or therapy. I highly recommend them. Exceptionally professional yet very caring and experienced. You are treated with respect and like human when in their care.

Forgive me for my poor review I sincerely apologize. Dr. Kimel Dr. Coe are very good at what they do and they have a high quality assessment process. They both have expansive knowledge of co-occurring disorders which is something that is difficult to find elsewhere. The waiting period is not too bad and definitely worth it.

Dr. Kimel is a true gem. She is highly knowledgeable in the field of autism and intellectual disabilities and her work is thorough and comprehensive. The evaluation we received was detailed and thoughtful and far reaching in the information covered. It included not only testing and background information but also information about supportive services and resources for our family going forward. Her work is excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending her.

I work with a Primary Care Facility here in the Springs and we just got the result back for one of our patients Dr. Kimel took care of. Both my Provider and I agree that she has done an amazing job. The report was incredibly detailed and she really took time to dive into the patients life history therapies etc. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kimel to those looking for an in-depth provider.
