My son Owen started at KRK when they opened last August and we will never use a different childcare provider. His teachers have all been amazing the staff knows him by name as soon as we walk in the door and they have taught him so much in the year hes been there We love his teachers like family and know they return that love to him. Thank you Kids R Kids

The staff and teachers at kids r kids are absolutely amazing. They know kids by name when they come in always super friendly and nice. The teachers do fun learning activities with kids all ages. They have a great learning curriculum. They work with the students and parents keeping you informed though out the day on daily activities and the video system. They also send pictures of the kids doing different activities

This is an amazing daycare The staff is so friendly The best part of this daycare is they have cameras. It keeps my mind at easy as well as brightens my day to watch my girl play. They have structured curriculum even for the little ones. They communicate extremely well with the procare app. They also call you immediately if any injury even if minor occurs. My husband and I had a good vibe when we initially visited. You can also pick up your child at anytime. We love her teachers. They are loving and kind. They know what is going on everyday and give us a general summary when we pick her up. The hours for pick up and drop off are amazing. I highly recommend if you are looking for childcare.

Extremely happy with the care and love poured into my child at this daycare. We have been attending since August 2021. We had a terrible experience at another local daycare and Kids R Kids has been completely opposite. Communication from the staff is excellent the lessons and activities for my 2 year old are fun and helpful to his academic development. He gets to play outside multiple times a day play at the splash pad eat a variety of different foods and get lots of love from his teachers. The cameras are a game changer Being able to watch your child throughout the day is worth any amount of tuition to me. I highly recommend Kids R Kids to anyone looking for childcare. You wont be disappointed.

Our family is relatively new at Kids R Kids but our experience so far has been great. The first day of dropping a kid off at daycare is super hard at least for the parents but getting updates through Procare throughout the day and being able to check in on the cameras whenever we wanted was so reassuring. We fully trust the staff and know that our little one is 100 taken care of. He is bringing him artwork all the time and seems to really be happy here. We also love the level of safety and security at Kids R Kids. A great choice for childcare in Waco.

This is the best child care center and its worth every penny I was nervous about putting my 2 year old in child care for the first time and from the moment I did the tour I knew they were the one for us. Everyone is nice and welcoming they really do treat my child like their own. They have cameras in the class rooms that you can watch from an app on your phone when youre away at any time. This helped ease my separation anxiety a lot My daughters knowledge has increased so much due to their teaching criteria I am amazed. The owners knew what they were doing when they opened up Kids R Kids in Waco great job. If I could give 10 stars I would

Kids R Kids has consistently provided excellent care for our infant son. His teachers care for him so well and give us such detailed updates on how he is doing every day when we pick him up From the director to the administrative staff to the teachers everyone Ive met at KRK is friendly and loves the kiddos they care for.KRKs classrooms are very clean have age-appropriate and developmentally enriching toys and we love the open door policy for families. The staff are knowledgeable in child development and seem happy to be with the kiddos in their class. We love checking in on our son using the camera system and getting real-time updates in the app. And all of the staff have welcomed feedback and questions when we have them which has been great as first-time parents placing our son in care.We couldnt have picked a better place for our boy

We do after-school care through Kids R Kids and absolutely love it The teachers are well connected to the children and the overall atmosphere is safe and loving. They do stations just as they would if they were at school. They also get time to read play outside sing etc. I get notified when she gets to facility and when she leavesif someone other than me picks her up. I get to watch her on camera at least 40 minutes a day which I love shes only there 2 and a half hours. My daughter gets emotional when she has to leave because she loves it so much. Shes 7

We recently moved to the Waco area from Indiana and were running into issues finding a Pre-K program for my son who is not fully potty-trained. We discovered Kids R Kids and decided to pursue checking them out by meeting with the enrollment coordinator Emily. Not only were we impressed with the facility but hearing about the open communication with the teacher and the ability to watch how our son is adapting through the available webcams was just phenomenal. My sons teacher Miss Kiera has done everything to accomodate a couple special needs and I absolutlely love the transparency of information we are receiving from her about my sons education and preparation for Kindergarten. She welcomes us with a smile every morning and it is evident she loves these kids like her own. After a couple of days of adjustment my son now tells us how much fun he is having everytime we pick him up. Thank you to everyone at Kids R Kids in Woodway for making us feel welcomed and taking such great care of my son We appreciate you

Overall I thought the daycare was clean and the staff were friendly. My child rarely was sick while attending KRK. Biting was a major issue within the infant and toddler rooms my daughter was bit at least 4-5 times her first week. The biting issue continued to the point were the staff would call parents to come pick up the child after their first or second bite. Several times I would see teachers not attending to the kids and separate them when they noticed a child was agitated Ex due to a toy being taken or over stimulated etc.. They would sometimes sit and watch the child and once a child hit or bit another child they would then react. My child never had a biting issue prior to attending KRK. Other than the biting issues everyone was friendly and I loved the clean space and learning environment. Staffing was sometimes an issue and changing of teachers often which is hard for some toddlers to adjust to the different teachers and routine. Properly training the staff to know how to deescalate a situation and to have better control over the toddler rooms are recommended some teachers were better at it than others. Overall I would recommend the daycare as I know no daycare is 100 perfect.

It is interesting to me that there are so many positive reviews for this facility. My experience was completely different. I found that this is not a school but is a business. If your child like mine is a square peg or has any kind of sensory needs the teachers and administration use written referrals suspension and disenrollment expulsion. These practices are entirely inappropriate for young children have no impact on the child and punish the parents who need child care so they can work. I think KRK is probably okay for well-behaved neurotypical and compliant kids. If your child is sensory-seeking experiences sensory overload needs a predictable structures or is in any way a handful youre going to want to keep looking.

Most public school districts across the country begin accepting student registration in early spring, usually in March or April. Some school districts may even start as early as January or February. The exact start date will vary depending on where you live and the type of school you decide to enroll your child in.

Autism-friendly camps come in all shapes and sizes, making it easier for you to find the one that best suits your needs. An autism-friendly camp may come in the form of a day camp, meaning you drop your child off in the morning and pick them up later that afternoon, or as an overnight camp. The camp programs can range in length from a few days to a few weeks. The campers that attend autism-friendly camps may be autistic only or a mixture of neurotypical and neurodivergent kids. When it comes to support for your child, some camps offer 1:1 support while others have a higher camper-to-counselor ratio.
When choosing the perfect camp for your child there are five key things you should keep in mind:
Interests: What does your child like to do? A sports camp probably wouldn’t be a good fit for your little bookworm. Finding the right summer camp that sparks your child’s excitement will aid in transitioning to and from camp, while also ensuring they enjoy their experience.
Professional Support: How much support does your child need? A traveling camp may not be best for your child who tends to elope. Some camps offer 1:1 support for your child, while others may have a higher camper-to-counselor ratio. When looking for a camp, pay close attention to those ratios to ensure there is adequate support for your child’s unique needs.
Specializations: Does the camp specialize in a specific area? If your child is nonverbal and the camp has excellent experience working with nonverbal children, it may be the perfect fit!
Responsiveness and Accommodations: Pay special attention to camps that meet with you one-on-one either by phone, video chat, or in person, to mark out a personalized support plan for your child. You can relax knowing they’re on top of things and making sure your child is properly supported. Don’t be afraid to ask tons of questions —a great camp will welcome them!
Location and Commitment: Not many people like a long commute. You know your child’s comfort level better than anyone else, so you’ll know what’s best for them, whether it’s a half-day camp, a full day, or an overnight experience.
