Kids 'R' Kids - Haslet

My kids have been attending Kids R Kids for almost two years now and we just love it there Everyone is so friendly and kind. My kids never want to leave when I pick them up. I highly recommend

Our daughters 2YR 18M old have been attending kids r kids of Haslet for months now and I cant begin to express how AMAZING our experience has been. Because we are a hispanic family one of my main concerns has always been to find a place that is diverse and inclusive. Needless to say that we feel right at home here The caregivers are very attentive and really care for our kiddos. The curriculum is top notch. They really strive to create a fun learning environment and our daughters love it. 100 RECOMMEND

Let me start off by saying I LOVE this daycare center They have been such a blessing to my family. I did NOT want to put my babies in daycare but in order to keep pushing forward it was a must With that being said from the moment I called to their first day and now 4 months in they have been absolutely amazing ALYSE HAMERMAN was the first person I spoke with on the phone and I had so many questions like alot lol she listened did not rush me off of the phone like some other centers did and answered all of my questions she is very kind and understands how hard it can be leaving your babies with strangers but even before we got there I felt a sense of family already. I was in the process of getting ccms started and was confused about alot with the process but she was there every step of the way. Now 3 of my kids are enrolled happy and learning new things everyday I have a 4yr 2yr and 1yr old They each have their own rooms with big beautiful windows that allows the kids to see into the next room and see other kids I love it the openness feels welcoming and not like they are stuck in a room with 4 walls all day The kids go outside to play alot and each age has their own playground area to play. They have security protocols like locked doors high gates outside cameras that you have access to anytime of day and plenty of watchful staff at all times. The teachers literally send you updates all day long with PICTURES The teachers are so sweet understanding they actually listen and want to know about your child to help them grow while there. They really do care about your babies like their own The front desk ladys make my day everyday they are always smiling and quick to answer any questions you may have As well as asking you daily about your day They ALSO know your children personally and make it feel so much like family No one here seems like they are just here for a check. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone here for welcoming me and my babies We are here until my babies start school or longer because they offer after school care with transportation as well If your looking for a 5 star daycare look no further

I highly recommend Kids R Kids my 2 children have attended a couple of other daycares in the area and from my past experiences Kids R Kids is the best one. They also offer Cameras for the classrooms so I can check on my little ones from time to time while I work. The leadership team is great with communicating and handling issues when they arise. My childrens teachers are nurturing and really nice my little ones really enjoy attending Kids R Kids even on the weekends when they wake up they say they want to go to school . I couldnt be happier with them. If you are trying to decide whats the best place to send your children youll know when you walk in and see all they have to offer. One of the main things for me its supervision in both of my childrens classrooms they have three teachers in each compared to the other daycares my children have attended many times they wouldnt even have a second teacher which makes a huge difference. They really care about my childrens well being

My experience with this daycare felt more like a glorified babysitter service as one parent aptly described it. The inconsistency among teachers and the noticeable lack of learning engagement for my child prompted my decision to unenroll him. Unfortunately the director was unavailable to discuss our concerns adding to the overall frustration with the experience.

As an employee here and having only been here a few weeks I am loving my experience so far. My coworkers have all been very kind to me so far. I always look forward to seeing the kiddos in my class as well as my co-teachers. Everyone is willing to teach me the ropes and I am thankful for the opportunity to grow here.

My son has been attending Kids R Kids in Haslet for a few months now and I couldnt be happier. He is learning so much and loves to go into his class each day His teachers are always communicating with me throughout the day on the schools app. We also get a ton of pictures. Alyse the school Director has always made me feel very welcomed and takes the time to talk to me each day. When she gave us our tour we had a ton of questions and she was very helpful and made us feel at ease. I highly recommend this school.

As a former employee at Kids R Kids I would first and foremost like to say this is such an amazing place to work. We are taught to have the very best communication possible with our parents as the director herself has the best communication with her employees and tries to find a middle ground for everyone whatever the case may be. As it has been very bittersweet to be leaving this specific work place I know and trust that they will continue to ensure a positive and happy work environment not just for their employees but for each and everyone of the kiddos thats placed in their hands

The coworkers are very nice and so is miss V and the other blonde woman who works at the front. I had a great time meeting the people who worked there and the kids The building is pretty clean and organized but the problem lies with Miss Alyse. Shes very petty and unprofessional.I had signed papers that I skimmed through as most people do which isnt a huge deal within itself and had a question about something that was in the papers. She proceeded to respond the rudest way possible by saying I just love it when they have questions about this policy that they sign but they dont readMind you I was not rude in any of my emails. I can even show receipts. Her professionalism is that of a teenager. She should not be running a daycare center since she quite clearly cant control her anger. Ive even heard stories about her screaming at some of my former coworkers.She picks favorites as well firing one coworker for being sick yet letting another take a lot of time off DURING WORK to breast feed even though she knows were out of ratio.So I personally wouldnt work recommended working here. At least not while shes director.

I had a school aged child a pre school aged child for a year here. As far as safety cleanliness I felt confident if needed I would send my kids back here. We loved every teacher they had which is one of my biggest complaints lack of staffing huge turnover. One of my children had over 6 teachers in less than a year before we left they would be with the school aged children in the afternoons. Creating a routine especially for kids who are being prepped for school was very difficult with the constant change of teachers. They do not use the STEM lab at least neither of my students did or utilize the other facilities like the musicPE room as often as the claim. One of my kids was assessed from a licensed behaviorist while in class and within her report she noted the children are freely roaming with no clear direction on what to be doing the behavior is to be expected which was a little bit of a letdown since I was really hoping for kindergarten prep something based around a curriculum. At most Id say a typical day is a glorified babysitter. I think these are areas for improvement and probably due to lack of staffing. Otherwise they took great care of my kids communication via the app throughout the day with pictures food eaten check inout times etc. gave me lots of ease.
