Please call the billing department before making an appointment and make sure they actually accept your insurance. To make a long story short the office staff lied to my face and said they accept my insurance even though they havent since 32022. I asked multiple times before leaving if everything was fine with insurance and if I had any co-payments. I was assured that everything was taken care of. Now I have a 750 bill and all I get is text messages and emails about this outstanding balance. Ive called billing 4 times and Im told each time a manager will call me back because no one is currently available. Im still waiting for a phone call. So maybe this review will get me a call back. Who knows. This has been a nightmare.

Hello i have been taking my kids to kids care dental for some years now and never had issues with front desk or dental staff. However this dental company is stressful when it comes to trying to reach staff from the office you receive care from Vacaville sends your call to who knows where probably the call center line. Another problem i came across in February 2024 was that i had fees from previous visits that my insurance did not cover 600 plus dollars. Billing department seems to be lying saying we are covered when in reality they are not sure The fees go back from 2018 to 2023 how in the heck am i just being notified about this On February 2024 I called the vacaville office and was directed like always to the call center spoke with someone and they told me they would check out what happened and investigate they would call back in a couple weeks ok it is now April 2024 and i never received a call back. I went to the office and asked about the fees on my account basically told me my insurance did not cover some work even tho initially they had said they did apparently once my insurance was billed they would come back and say no we dont cover that work. This is beyond ridiculous whats more ridiculous is the fact they allowed so many years to pass. Kids care dental this is not ok specially when i could have refused certain services if i knew they were unnecessary feels like kids care dental takes it upon themselves to share information when they want or when someone in billing is actually doing the job right not sure at this point. I will repost with an update and see how long it takes them to contact me regarding my fees Todays date 41524

Extremely frustrated with KidsCare Vacaville Switching health care insurance is a nightmare. I have placed 4 or 5 calls over the last 3.5 months given my new insurance 3 different times and im still getting text messages and emails stating that there is an outstanding balance.The only number that I can reach anyone is the billingreceiving dept. They are very nice and empathetic with my situation. All they can do is update my file which no one looks at and the front desk would have to A. enter my new insurance information and B. resubmit my dental claim.I have tried multiple times to call the front desk or the main number and can never get through. I have tried at all hours of the working day.Update I received an email this morning saying that my new insurance has been updated and the claim has been resubmitted. Fingers crossed

We have loved our visits there. Very kind and gentle and take great care of the kids. HOWEVER take care of anything you need in person. Calling and emailing is extraordinarily frustrating and unhelpful. We moved out of state and need copies of our records. I have spent two days calling about 2 hours on hold total hung up on multiple times and finally I have been promised records twice and not received them. Sent an email as well with no response.

The way that they outsource for their appointments and their customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I dont know how many times Ive been charged out of the blue for services that Ive never incurred and then I had to call them to fix the issue on the phone for about two hours. This is consistently dropping the ball. If you are going to be a new patient there I would think twice and go somewhere else. They are super outsourced terrible place I regret it.

update while I did not have the best experience with the corporation portion the staff at the Vacaville office went above and beyond to ensure my situation was fixed. I still love Dr wright as do my kids. The staff is really great if you just deal with them instead of the corporation and call center.While I love the dentist and the hygienist we see there the billing department and the call center is atrocious. They are trying to bill me for services up to 3 years ago. I called just to be told their billing department they have you call cannot answer any questions such as basic questions like a list of the date of services that are being billed for and they have to send it for an audit. This audit apparently takes 7-10 business days and who knows if they will actually call you back. Avoid it if you dont want surprise bills later on. Wish I could take the dentist from this location and put her somewhere else so my kids could continue to see her.

Good service when we can get in but the front desk and scheduling has been poor. Someone took it upon themselves to schedule an appointment for one of the kids without talking to us. Then we tried to call in to sort it out. Constantly on hold. If you like listening to their marketing hold music... five stars. If you want to get anything done.. zero.

Had a great first visit with my 6 year old daughter. The staff was friendly and did a great job putting my daughter at ease. They explained how the equipment would work and even let her touch what she could. Made sure I had lots of opportunities to share any concerns I had and took the time to go through each one as to why its something we will watch or why it was something I didnt need to worry about. That gave me a real peace of mind when I left. Felt heard understood and properly informed when I left.
