Kids Care Dental - Tracy

If I could give negative stars I would. The Dr. and the hygienist are amazing but the office staff and scheduling agents are a joke. I scheduled back to back apts for the same day for my daughter as we were leaving leaving her appointment we had. I then received an email 3 days before her upcoming apts that the times were changed with NO phone call or email to make sure those times worked for us. This isnt the 1st time. I called the office and received little to no help. The gal that booked her 1st apt booked it for 830am come to find out that department doesnt even open until 9am so they pushed the apt. I received an apt confirmations for the 2 apts later that day to only receive 2 more emails the next day stating they changed her apt times again. This time hours apart from each other. AGAIN no phone call to confirm these times would work for us. I then proceeded to call several time only to be hung up on both from the office staff and the scheduling agent. 45 minutes later I got ahold of someone. At this point I canceled ALL apts with this office and will no longer be taking my kids there. What a JOKE this place is.

Worst Dental clinic. All they care about is minting money from clients by scheduling appointments. Their Dentist is also low grade who points out fault in tooth decay and recommends deep cleaning for young kids to get more money esp if they have good insurance. Since I cancelled all appointments with them due to bad service and low grade money minded dentists they filled my kids oral assessment in a negative manner for his school admission.

I hate that they have a call center that sounds like its out of California. Calls no longer go to the office making it hard for the caller to understand what we need. This has been my experience on several occasions. The last straw was when I was driving from 40 minutes away and was going to be 15 minutes late and when I called the caller said it was ok since I had another kid scheduled right after and the doctor always gives a 10 minutes grace period but when I was exactly 10 minutes late they called and said I couldnt be seen. I got there 5 minutes later and they still wouldnt see my child. When I said I didnt want to reschedule and would be taking him somewhere else it didnt phase them. This was for an ortho consult so wouldve been a new patient for them. Ill be going to an office where I can actually speak to the people in the office.Once we were seen for my other child the ortho consult went well. Its a shame cuz I like the dentist side but they seem to have gotten away from that personal customer service.

Glad to be back at Kids Care Dental -Tracy with my youngest. The staff here is wonderful. Shay was a delight at the front desk. The whole staff is great at creating and maintaining a fun environment for the kids. They are all great at easing any apprehension kids may have. Dr. Decent is such a joy and watching how she helped put my youngest daughter at ease makes the experience even better.

Im only giving two stars for the dental assistant. I wish I knew her name and i feel bad I dont remember because I want her to know its not her. I am pretty sure she was Hispanic and is a mom of a 4 year old thats all I remember. Thank you for your kindness.Front desk staff didnt seem very welcoming. When I walked in I kinda stood around for awhile before anyone came to the front. Im assuming they were having a meeting I didnt mind the waiting at all actually. I was taken back with the dental assistant and she was so kind and patient with my son who has a fear of all drs.Dr Tyson came in and she seemed nice at first but I could tell she started to get annoyed with my son. Which was odd because youre a pediatric dentist. I thought she would have the most patience ever. I assumed she probably wasnt having the best day.She gave me great info and seemed to calm down the annoyance but then she asked how things were at home. I felt really weird about that im assuming its because my son needs work done on his teeth and I got emotional about it. I hope she wasnt asking me that thinking I neglect my child. I had to talk to the front desk staff again who felt like they were annoyed. Needless to say I left the place feeling uneasy. I went to a different childs dentist office the work will cost more money but I felt 100 percent better after going to the new Dentist. I really wanted to give this place a good review only because of the dental assistant. Everyone needs to take a page out of her book.

Love this place It was our first time here today and I cant be more happier with our visit. The facility was very clean and they have a little game room...

I waited for over 45 minutes for my daughters appointment without receiving any updates about delays. While I can understand delays of 10 15 or 20 minutes a wait of over 45 minutes felt somewhat excessive.The front desk staff were nice but receiving information about any delays would have been appreciated.

Came in early and checked-in with my daughter for an appointment hoping to get in but still had to wait an hour. The hygienist stated that the receptionist was suppose to tell us if dentists were running late and give us the option to reschedule but they did not inform me. Next time just come in exactly your appointment or a little late to get service.

Kids care dental has been a safe place for my daughter for 10 years now and she has finally graduated to adult dentistry.I would like to make a serious mention of the gratitude and respect I have for Dr. Hassan Tracy in how meticulously he conducted the braces removal for my daughter. He empathized with our emergency situation and went above and beyond to make sure we had enough information to move on with for the next steps. I highly appreciate the efforts he had taken to make it a service rather than just a practice despite the tough situation.

over all the staff is nice. That being said the front desk personnel need additional training since they can barely do their jobs with scheduling and like to give you a deer in the headlights look if you ask them a question.the Dental hygienist that cleaned my kids barely did anything and was very fast but it was not as detailed as the last dentist we used to go to before they closed down.after she was done we had to wait over 25 minutes for the dentist to come out and examine my kids teeth. the dentist was very nice but my main complaint is how long it took for her to come out.this isnt our first time with terrible service here but I finally had it when it took over an hour and a half for my two kids to be seen when we had an appointment. Ill be looking for a better place for my kids. I miss Tracy smiles kids

Im only giving one star because of the dentist who has been amazing to my kids but the customer service and the dental staff supporting her is very disappointing. Last week we showed up to my kids appointments and ended up waiting 15 minutes to be called back. When I asked when will we will be called for our appointments the receptionist told me the staff member was on her break but will get us when she returns. Why schedule appointments when staff is on a break People take time off work to get to appointments. Its very inconsiderate to make families wait like this considering if we miss an appointment we could be charged 50 but they can take their time seeing patients with no discount for waiting while their staff is on a break. I also needed to cancel an appointment because my daughter got sick I spent all morning dealing with their call center who was very unhelpful. I ended going online to try to reschedule the appointment myself but apparently the options available cleaning or emergencyurgent appointments were not the right appointment for my daughter. So the call center called me to reschedule and again I end up on the phone talking with someone wasting more of my time and not rescheduling the appointment. Then there is the constant paperwork issue. Ive been given referrals and medical release requests that I have to take to my kids doctors office and then return to Kids Care. I should be paid to be a medical secretary for doing all the footwork to get my kids dental care taken care of. This dental office causes more stress for parents because the staff is not trained or capable of providing good customer service.
