Kids Care Dental - Rancho Cordova

The dentist and dental techs are great but the front reception staff are always short not helpful when you ask questions wont make eye contact mumble when they speak. The office needs some manners and etiquette. It gets old having to go in and deal with their attitudes especially when we are there just for cleanings. Weve been coming here for years and if it wasnt for such a wonderful dentist- wed have changed by now.

For our first visit all the office staff as well as the Dentist were pleasant and too the time to really explain my granddaughters dental needs. Excellent first impression all the way across the board thank you so much

Its incredibly hard to get ahold of the front desk. You have to call a call center then they try to contact the desk. They dont return calls. The front desk is either rude or just lacks in customer service skills Im not sure but its off-putting to say the least. I would go somewhere else but the actual dentist and her helpers are really nice. Its just getting past the barrier. Plus we owed a minuscule amount at the end of the appoint but forgot our wallet at home so we had to run home to get it and go right back. Within 20 mins we had 2 phone calls 1 voicemail and a text lacking of professional communication skills telling me that we needed to pay that day. Like I dont live next door driving takes a little bit of time back and forth. Over the years its just gone downhill.

Called to set up an appointment for my children the office confirmed insurance was good to use active.Had to get my children released from school early because they only had school time hours available for the dentist appointments. When we show up for the appointment they said they dont accept the insurance we have. The cost for a pediatric exam X-rays she said would be 400 out of pocket for each child.We pulled them out of school for nothing

Was referred to this location by the Folsom branch due to availability issues. They made us pay 155 our deductible for the fillings. When my son got in the chair they said he was too wiggly and they didnt feel comfortable preforming the procedure. Which I understand and respect. However they still charges us 35 for the visit because they did evaluate him. Then said we would be refunded the rest of the money within 12 days. After several failed attempts to contact the office we finally got ahold of someone in the accounting department which told us he can see Its been 19 days and that the refund is still processing. He notified us that it could take up to another 7 days to get the refund. Meanwhile we were referred to an extremely expensive surgery center to do my sons work and they are holding on to our money with no care. Definitely be careful with payments and I recommend paying cash so if they cant perform the work on your child you are able to get a refund that day. Otherwise who knows when youll get your money back.

I had a nasty experience at the end of my childrens appointment. The dentist was amazing - her technician is phenomenal. However the technician who was checking us out at the end of the visit- was horrible with her communication and interaction with me. While trying to set a date for treatment - she seems like she didnt want to talk to me and was showing attitude in her tone. She had me sign documents for the treatment- she took the paper after signing. When I ask for a copy of the document I signed she looks at me and hands me back the paper I signed- without making a copy to keep for her records. If she doesnt want to work as in customer service environment- she needs to find another profession. I understand the practice is closing in 20mins this was on 01072024 around 4.30pm. It ruined my afternoon being around her- ruined the whole experience for me and my kids.

When my children first started going here the staff was wonderful. Now it seems more and more are rude. Some not greeting parents. Others with a straight up attitude. A doctor even disrespected one of the staff I guess she was a floater in front of me and my children instead of taking her in a room to speak to her. Ill be looking into moving locations in hopes to be serviced by people who kinder.

First dental visit for my 2 year old Staff was very friendly. Explained the whole process throughout. Made me feel comfortable that my daughter is being taken care of by wonderful people.

We absolutely love our dentist. My son is 4 and has been going here since he had 4 teeth. Every time we go he leaves with a smile and a positive experience. He has even had to get a tooth extracted

Last week my daughter had with Kids Care Dental appointment after the appointment I was told to schedule another appointment which I did. The next day my daughter got a schedule from school which she had a game on the day of the appointment meaning she needs a rescheduled appointment. So I rescheduled the appointment through the website online. The day after I called the Kids Care office to cancel the first appointment. Someone picked up the phone but didnt answer. So I had to call the 1-800 and spoke with this gentleman. I asked him to cancel the first appointment he asked do I need to reschedule. I told him I did rescheduled the appointment online. He said he would check after he checked. He said I cant keep this appointment because my daughter appointment supposed to be 45-60 minutes the online appointment only 30 minutes. When I scheduled the appointment online it did not indicate the time limit. So I asked him to check with his supervisor if they could work something for us. I am a working full-time mom and my daughter plays sport after school.He came back and said per his supervisor. I have to reschedule different date. I work and I cant keep changing my time off. Then he also stated that I could not talk with a supervisor. We like Dr. Tania she is great.

I wish it worked out with this dentist office for us because they are so close to where we live but we unfortunately did not have the best experience with...
