Kids Care Dental - Folsom

I take my daughter for regular check ups and we always have a great experience. We just went in because she had a cavity and I was so pleasantly surprised by the experience. The dentist Dr. Shaw and the assistant Meghan were so personable kind and fun. My daughter had a great experience with something that can be so scary. We are so grateful for such a great dentist.

I recently took my son to Kids Care Dental in Folsom and was impressed by the entire experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my son felt comfortable and understood every step of the process. They took the time to explain each procedure in a child-friendly manner and then switched gears to go into more detail for me when necessary. The staff took the time to involve him in decisions such as choosing the type of toothbrush he wanted to use and selecting the flavor of toothpaste. I have been to practices where this wasnt the norm so giving him some control in the process was really important to me. My son is actually looking forward to his next visit and I cant think of a better metric to summarize how well the visit went. Highly recommended.

We had an emergency on a Sunday and Dr. Shaw was on call. They got us in within 2 hours of our initial call and she and Megan were fantastic Excellent with our 4 year old daughter. Highly recommend

We have followed orthodontist Dr Lindquist from Elk Grove to Folsom. She has followed my daughters somewhat complex case since around 1st grade. Shes amazing and gentle with braces adjustments and my daughter who has sensory issues has been totally comfortable with her from the get go. She takes her time with explaining things and answering questions but also sped up an appointment for us when I was running behind to another appointment.

We love kids care. Weve come here for many years. The dentists are amazing with kids and the staff are all very kind.

The entire process with Dr Shaw and staff was flawless. We needed an urgent tooth pull for our almost 2 year old and they got us in right away. From the moment we walked in they were welcoming and did everything they could to help our toddler feel at ease. They got us checked in super easy knocked out an xray and then had us back in a room in no time at all. they worked together smoothly and efficiently and made a very difficult process really easy to handle. Would give 10 stars if I could

The staff was very kind compassionate and helpful with my nine-year-old autistic son. Hes nonverbal though he understands quite a bit. They moved slowly and cleaned his teeth and he had a great experience.

We love Kids Care Dental for our little one. Their commitment to providing quality care for our kiddo is amazing creating a positive and comfortable environment. Dr. Shaws expertise caring demeanor and the teams dedication make it a great choice for pediatric dental care.

Ive been a loyal customer at Kids Care Dental for 11 years entrusting them with my daughters dental and orthodontic care. However recent experiences have led me to reconsider my choice. The most glaring issue is the significant doctor turnover resulting in a single doctor on staff and a frustrating two-month wait for a cavity filling.Further adding to my disappointment is the apparent billing strategy for cavity treatments. The clinic initially scheduled two separate appointments for a single cavity filling each requiring an hour-long visit with individual co-pays. When questioned the staff struggled to justify this eventually conceding that the procedure could be completed in one 75-minute appointment.Moreover billing practices at Kids Care Dental have been questionable. I received a bill in November which I promptly paid only to be blindsided by another bill claimed to be from two years ago. The office staffs inability to provide detailed explanations or valid justifications for this charge was concerning.Its disheartening to witness the decline in service quality and transparency at a place where Ive invested trust and resources for over a decade. Therefore I am currently seeking a new dental care provider and based on these recent issues cannot recommend Kids Care Dental to others. Their current operational and administrative practices leave much to be desired overshadowing the years of satisfactory service.

My daughter had her first visit at this office and really enjoyed every part of the experience. She was nervous to go but was put at ease when she was there and ended up really liking it. Dr. Shaw was great Highly recommend.
